Great Value Reduced Fat Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, 16 oz

We have purchased this G many many times throughout the years. We have tried the brand names and they are a waste of our money. It's a reasonable price and the product is delicious. I use it in casseroles, when we make taco tacos and burritos and enchiladas. I use it in macaroni and cheese recipes, I put a bit in our salads, I have even used this to sprinkle on bread and make delicious grilled cheese sandwiches. Also, I sprinkle a bit on French bread or other breads place in the oven and toast then for a delicious appetizer or with a meal, you can also add anything with the cheese to bruschetta or French bread to make a nice snack or with a meal.

You can use this cheese in just about any food. I don't toast the cheese or make it creamy. But I do use the cheese for salads and I used to use the cheese in burritos. One of my favorite foods to use this cheese in is my egg white omelets. Yummy. This size makes more sense to me to buy it takes longer to run out.

This cheese is really great to use on lighter homemade pizzas and casseroles, etc. I wish Walmart would carry more reduced fat cheeses. I can't do nonfat cheese 😁

I like this cheese and we go through a lot of it. I've been buy Great Value for a long time and like that it's not expensive but just as tasty. I will not pay more for the name brands I like to save money and this helps me do that.

This shredded cheese is great for pizzas it melts pretty well. the taste is okay. It's not a very moist cheese at all. the only reason I buy this cheese instead of kraft is because the price is quite a bit lower. this cheese is pretty much good for anything that you need to melt it. if you're looking for a cheese to use fresh out of the bag, I would recommend Kraft for things like tacos, salads, things of that nature.

I love to find great value products that are good. Cheese is so expensive and this is a great brand to use that is not quite as pricey. It's a very good alternative to the brand name product. I use it very often as I make a lot of cheesy dishes.!!

Taste is average, value is above average, melt and stretch capacity is average. It's fat reduced and on sale, can't beat it on a calorie deficit. It could be better, which is why I'm awarding it 4/5 rating. 70 calories - 4g of Fat, 3g of Carbs, 8g of Protein. The picture in Walmart's listing is incorrect regarding nutrition facts. Please fix the picture inside the image gallery.

Okay these bagged shredded cheese especially great value are packing in the preservatives to heavy I mean this cheese was coated in powder it was powdery to the taste buds, and left a corn starch feeling to the tongue. I get it because I have issues with my hands and grating cheese causes unwanted pains and aches, but you would be better grating your own as this is packed and loaded with powder. Taste of cheese getting away from powder, good creamy, melts good, but the powder deters me.

This is fine when you don't have time to grate cheese. I dropped a few stars for the cellulous and filler in it. Was hard to melt on a pizza, open face cheese toast etc.

Good cheese, but the resealable bag is bad. Once you open it and seal it, it's impossible to reopen the seal. I end up ripping the bag around the seal every time. It's a worthless resealable bag.
