Installed yesterday. Water tasted as same as with LG filter (priced at $50 ). Most of these type of water filter made with coconut shells charcoal, which processed and exported as raw charcoal or pre-fab into large blocks, the quality of these filter depends mostly on how much compacting pressure applied, more dense, better filtering and also increase cost. Walmart priced is reasonable and even if it contracted out from other manufacturere, I still trusted it more since that is store brandname and has some QC applied, compares with many good-looking-cheap water filters out there.

These filters work well and are much more affordable than the LG brand. I'm glad you have them.
