If you've never tried GV branded chips you are missing out. Generic brands can be hit or miss but Walmart/ chips are great. They are better than name brand chips. I normally get the kettle jalapeño GV brand and decided to try these for taco salad. They are really light and flaky and taste great

Gradually, slowly, over time, the world has gotten more food, higher quality, cheaper prices. You can work one or two or three hours at minimum wage and have enough calories for the whole week. Two dozen eggs, sack of rice, sack of flour, bag of apples. I'm not saying I wouldn't want more. But products such as these chips are proportionately much cheaper today than at any point in human history. I don't have to plow any fields, wait months for rain and harvest, to get enough calories to avoid starving to death. I think the quality of these chips are second to none, fresh, in a germ-free, bug-free plastic bag, consistent quality, well made... we all should be thankful that we live in a time of such massive abundance. I buy a bag of these chips every week or so, just to have them around. They go with sour cream, cheese, etc. I've never found a stone, rotten chip, nothing. If you were to spread these on a silver plate and warm them up, you could serve them to any king or president or anybody. We should all be thankful.

I love the Great Value variety of chips they offer as well as their prices! Chips can be incredibly expensive and knowing that Great Value has so many varieties to offer as well as very competitive pricing it's hard to pass these up over the namebrand options out there. I've always been a white corn fan even for nachos I don't care, I'm not looking at the color I am looking for the taste and they are always spot on with taste and price so no complaints here. Great Value variety of chips are a go to for me!

Walmart's GV snacks are no different than the name brand. In fact, workers at food manufacturing plants have said many times that the products are all the same, but they just stop the line and change bags. That said the GV brand are a huge money-saving product. Why buy Frito-Lay when you can buy GV for 1/2 the price. I stopped buying the name brand chips years ago.

Ok, I feel kind of silly reviewing tortilla chips, of all things, but I rely on reviews like everybody else and these are actually really, really good. Like, really good. They are light, thin, salty, non greasy (Important!), don't break under the salsa (although thick guacamole can take them out) and are cheap as dirt. I don't know who the brand name is that these are masquerading as, but they win my applause.

If you're looking to save money, this is definitely the way to go. They're not as good as the name brand but they're not bad either. a little on the thicker side, compared to the name brand. great for nachos, good sized. we just love nachos around here so we go through em a lot.

I'm a big fan of the price, flavor, and even ingredients in the Great Value tortilla chips! The only thing that's had me switch is the fact that the bags are always crushed beyond reason. Anywhere from 1/5 to 1/3 of the bag is in pieces smaller than 2" square, which isn't exactly great for dipping, scooping, or nachos. After 8 bags of the same deal, I tried a couple of different low cost brands, and they didn't have the same issue. I'll miss the price, but is it really a deal if there's that much wasted food?

All the chips are crumbled and broken in the small pieces. It's like they took the broken chips from the major brand and put them into the offbrand for a cheaper price. The taste is OK and I guess if you crumble your chips into you soups or chili, they're already broken up for you.
