I've given five stars I've shopped at Walmart for probably 30 or 40 years every time I order food to be delivered because I'm disabled things are missing and they get a refund I don't want the refund I need the food I can't get to the store but the driver and the time that it comes is always perfect
Let's face it - riced cauliflower is not all that exciting. However, the texture of this one is excellent, and the taste is fine. It makes a good lower carb/calorie stand in for regular rice. The value for the price is very good in comparison to "name" brands. Will definitely purchase again.
Great product for low carb meals. It has a nice rice like texture and light flavor that mixes will in casseroles. I use it as a substitute for rice in my stuffed peppers with ground beef. I cook it it the microwave first then mix in with my meat loaf style stuffing. I have also used it for butter chicken and tikka masala as a rice substitute . Hubby loves it!
This is the best! . In a skillet, Cook fresh veggies in garlic butter , throw in this bag of rice. Add a couple eggs to scramble, lawrys, pepper and cocoaminos to taste, I don't do soy. Perfection in a pan! Stretch it with your fave chicken or seasoned ground beef! You're welcome!
I absolutely love this cauliflower rice and the fact that it's steamable. It is such a good deal buying the Great Value brand since it's a better price than other brands and you can microwave it in the bag. I use this for so many things that I would use as a substitute for rice. For example, I mix with ground turkey or ground beef and then marinara or Alfredo and then add some veggies and you have a meal that is very low carb and filling. Or put the mixture into a low carb wrap or in a regular wrap if you aren't eating low carb. I love it and im not currently eating low carb at all. I just love it because it's a great filler and way less calories than rice and it provides a bulk if you mix with food or sauce. It takes on the taste of whatever you mix with. If you have never tried it, seriously you should try it and give it a chance, but use it in a recipe where you normally would use rice and dont just eat it plain or you may give up on it.
I believe Green Giant's was 10 oz, and this was 12 oz. Price was the same, making this a better deal. It took a bit long than instructions said, 12 minutes on high in my 1000 W microwave oven. I like to pour Cream of Mushroom condensed soup over it, no milk or water added, to make it into a meal. One odd thing was that there seemed to be bits of riced broccoli mixed in with the cauliflower. Seeing something green in my food that's not expected made me think of mold, but lucky for me, it wasn't.
Great Value riced cauliflower is a staple in our low carb home. I use it for just about everything from our favorite pizza casserole to hash to loaded faux mashed "potatoes". It's versatile and quick and easy to make. Just pop it in the microwave for a few minutes and you're ready to go!
Very quick and easy to make in the microwave or on the stove top. Excellent substitution for rice if you are watching your carbs. For some extra flavor, we used a little bit of chicken broth instead of water to boil it, and added some additional veggies. Comes out fluffy! Have had no issues with it being soggy or mushy, though if you add to much water I am sure that that is a possible outcome.
Not the tastiest frozen cauliflower rice I've ever had. but it does the job. It's mixes fine with proteins but I wouldn't recommend it as a side dish by itself. Also, I'm pretty sure the package became a victim of "shrinkflation" in the last year. I used to divide the package once it was cooked to set aside some for another meal and there seems to be a lot less to each serving now when I divide it.
fairly good---dealing with issues that state that products are out of stock for me. I had an order for 12 items were OUT OF STOCK! There are items not that are ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK when I go to place an order. It's ridiculous and I know that if I were to go to the store that the items would be IN STOCK. DO YOU NOT WANT ME TO PURCHASE ITEMS FROM YOUR STORE??? I have already begun to compare prices and will purchase the target 360 membership. I believe that they want my business and will not block me from purchasing items that I wish to have. I guess that I'm saying - YOU SUCK, Wal Mart and your BUSINESS PRACTICES SUCK!
