I hope this is not just an aberration. I bought two bags hesitantly, because in the past they simply have not been salty and vinegary. barely salty. these were fantastic!! salty enough for sure and vinegar was sharp and strong! now that's a salt and vinegar potato chip!
I got these for my husband since S%26V chips are his favorite. The first few times I added them to my weekly grocery order they were just as good as the more expensive name brands. Unfortunately, after a few times getting them they no longer tasted like S%26V. There was a very faint vinegar taste but mostly they just tasted like salted chips.
I love Salt and Vinegar chips but I don't like when they are overwhelming and take your breath away. I think these are one of the best salt and vinegar blends. I like the thin, light texture. I found them to be a better flavor and quality than most name brands. I highly recommend trying. Affordable on a family budget.
Because for whatever reason, these are impossible to find on the shelf. They give you everything desired out of a salt and vinegar chip, but I can't find them in the store, so I either pick up or get them delivered with groceries and allow smarter humans to locate them.
good deal for the price my daughter loves on bigger chips and said these are good their favorites are the Utz brand though but these are cheaper on the wallets and to me they seem very similar
I’d recommend this product only if saving money was the most important factor for your shopping trip. They aren’t terrible, but the flavor is a little off and they don’t have as much of a crisp crunchiness compared to name brand. The price is a great value though and is worth it to save money if you’re okay with a slightly different flavor overall.
I emailed Walmart about my issues but they ignored me so I’ll be leaving a review. These used to be my favorite chips but now they are hit and miss so bad. One bag will be salty and barely vinegary, the next will be great and then another bag will be plain chips that thought about vinegar one time. Completely flavorless. At least with bigger name brands, they are consistent in flavor
This was my first time buying Great Value Salt and Vinegar chips. The best ones had an odd texture which would have been tolerable if that was the only problem. There were many that were stuck together. They were tough and not even chewable. I’ve never had chips with this texture. The salt vinegar flavor was good if only it had been on chewable chips. Maybe it was a manufacturing mistake in one batch. I don’t see how they would be sellable if they were all this way. It definitely makes me leery to try again. Lay’s is more expensive but sure to be good.
opening the bag has an unappealing odor and most of the chips are black/ grey. I received a refund for the first bag and purchased a second hoping it was just a bad batch. unfortunately the second bag was nearly as bad. i decided to taste, and did NOT enjoy them. odd because i liked them in the past.
I just opened the last purchased bag of these chips (have purchased them before) but the awful smell emanating from bag (chemicals?) and after my tasting two broken chips confirmed to me I would do better to not to eat them and just toss. I would take back to Walmart for a refund it I didn't have to drive 19 miles one way = $2.79 a gallon round trip equals $5.58 for a refund of $1.50!
