So Addictive

Angie March 22, 2026

Love, love, love these chips. It was the first time I had them and now I'm hooked. Maybe a good thing or? Kidding aside, these are slightly sour and perfectly salty. I will purchase again for sure.

Great Value chips (Lays?) NEED TO READ THIS

PurpleR March 5, 2025

I love these chips, ate half the bag at opening it. Yeah, that was a meal of my day. Yumm! Walmart house brand items are often name brand products without the name brand name, yet are the same product without the name brands profit margin, but the Walmart profit margin. I've had several different Great Value chips that are identical in size, shape, consistency and flavor as the name brand in the title of this review, including their Salt and Vinegar chips. I believe that these are that brand packaged under Great Value at severely reduced profit margin instead. Try this for yourself. Buy them both and taste for yourself. On a side note: (the NEED TO READ section) I am unable to get to the store to retrieve or purchase items and products, I'm disabled, I have a W (Walmart ) account to save me money for delivery and shipping. So far, and it's been over 18 months, I've saved over two hundred dollars and, no chips bags have been damaged AT ALL (fingers crossed). Also, I read a lot of reviews of items, usually before buying them, sometimes after. I see a lot of complaints with potato chips reviews of delivery and shipping items where the buyers also buy heavy stuff for the same shipment, and then complain when the chips bag didn't survive the shipping. Come-on people, don't buy potato chips and a 35lb bag of dog food or 3 twelve packs of soda AND expect the chips bag to survive the rigors of shipping, then blame Walmart for the chips bag bursting open! You engineered the situation in the first place by buying delicates with overweight items at the same time. That's expecting the wonderful Walmart shipping team to be smarter than you were in ordering and expecting them to go *above and beyond* in the packaging and protecting than *your intelligence was in purchasing* without you paying the extra cost to save your delicate potato chips from the 20 cans of soup and 35lb bag of dog food that you bought together for a single shipment. You need to be smarter than the Walmart employees, not the other way around. Because if they were smarter than you, they might not be working for Walmart anymore, and you might be working for them as your boss.. Nuff Said

Sour but not vinegary, too salty and oily. sorry

Anonymous February 8, 2026

These were a definite no for me. No vinegar taste (just sour), too salty, too greasy If salt and vinegar chips are your favorite, it's worth paying a bit more for the name brand of your choice

The only chips I've ever seen a 65 warning on. They likely skip washing the potatoes or soaking them. Integral if you're going to enjoy cancer-less chips.

Expired products

Pam May 11, 2023

Unfortunately, Walmart sold me some expired potato chips (Sep 2023). When I opened the bag I could immediately smell the old oil. I also purchased a kettle cooked salt and vinegar potato chips, and they will expire at the end of this month (May 2023.). Hopefully I can receive a refund on both purchases.

Great Value Salt

RegJim November 17, 2022

The chips had no flavor, someone at the factory didn't add any flavoring to these salt and vinegar chips! The chips didn't even taste of salt let alone vinegar. Not sure what happened but i would think I would not be the only one to encounter this. I will send a picture of bags ink stamp maybe someone can get to the bottom of this problem. Thank You.
