I go through a lot of these. Because I use it for baking and like to melt it and add it to pasta. I have some kids will eat it just with their pasta with no sauce. Great on vegetables. On toast. Just keep it in the fridge and you're ready to go. Have a nice creamy taste and I like the salt that's in it too.
I like using different butters for different things. Even though it carries a real butter logo being an experienced baker I can detect a hint of water content so I use it for certain things like toast, biscuits a little mixed with olive oil to fry or scrambled eggs so I recommend it comes in handy and is less expensive than the richer brands, or the organic butters.
I don't usually use butter but one recipe recommended it so I tried Great Value's salted butter. It's well priced and works for the recipe I got it for. Since I rarely use butter, I can't compare this one to other brands, but it seems comparable as far as my minimal experience can judge. To me, butter is butter! It's easy to measure and use, melts easily, and spreads well when soft.
Fridge staples !! That's all I can say!! You never know when you may need this for a dish so I like to keep some On hand !! I am pleased with the flavor and quality of the product ! I am Always satisfied! The price is wonderful , you can't beat it !! I will keep these in my pantry !! You can make some many things with it !! Amazing buy !!
If your not going to be needing FOUR STICKS right away and your not into freezing butter. Two sticks, may work for you too. As far as, the brand goes. Tastes like butter. ; ) Yes, i would recommend this product.
Great value butter prices are terrific. The taste is just as good as brand named butter. I hate paying a high price for butter and appreciate what Great Value offers me. I recommend this butter.
I bought this butter because I love to lather myself in butter and roll around in chocolate chips and then lay on a my shag carpet. Especially during cool rainy days! Throw on a scary movie and then lick it off of myself. This is by far my favorite butter to use.! It's smooth, lighting color and tastes good!
I ordered a pound of butter 2 boxes of 8 oz butter were substituted. WHY Walmart was out of 1 pound packages, hard to believe. Also because of the substitution I was charged more money
Again why are we substituting the 2 packages of 4 to 4 packed of 2 that cost $2 more??? It still shows as available in stock on the website.. personal shoppers are not meeting basic minimum expectations.. nor do they appear to have any common sense.
I ordered the double pack (4 sticks each package) but they said it was sold out and suggested a substitution - which I thought were going to be simply 2 packages with 4 sticks each (equivalent to the "bundled" purchase). The price for each 4- stick package is $3.67. Intead, I received 2 packages with 2 sticks each (so 4 sticks total-same amount I thought I was buying but the cost of the 4 sticks I received was $5.43 - over $1.75 HIGHER than the package I thought I ordered for the same amount of product!! Isn't food high enough without over- charging and deceptive packaging?!
