Is a bold, briny little classic: tender sardines meet the sharp tang of mustard for a flavor that's savory, slightly zingy, and deeply satisfying. The sauce adds a smooth, punchy heat that doesn't overpower the fish, making each bite feel rich but still lively.
Recently sardines have gotten more popular and prices went crazy over the last few years. Thankfully, these little gems exist. Sauce has a nice flavor, mild but not too mild. Still allow the fish flavor to shine through.
Quality and value of sardines were very good. This was my first time trying sardines in mustard flavor so I didn't care for that combination for my taste buds. Otherwise, I would rate them higher.
If you're trying to get maximum value from fish, skip tuna and go for sardines. These are spicy and paired with crackers make a perfect meal. I do wish soybean oil was replaced with evoo.
Good fish. The fish makes the mustard sauce taste good (not the other way around-just kidding). Good for when you're on a budget, which for me, is like, always!
If you are in a pinch the Great Value Sardines in Mustard sauce isn't that terrible. There is a slight aspartame taste that lingers in the mouth for a short period of time. The fishy smell can get a little overwhelming, so tossing the can in the outside garbage is highly recommended.
This is a good product. I have no problem with it. The problem is Walmart shipping. I never received it and tried to get it replaced but it was a waste of time. I was charged for it but never got it. I deleted my Walmart account because I have had several other problems with missed items and delayed shipping.
The only reason i did not like this can of sardines was bc of the prickly bones - That just ruined it for me so i will never buy sardines w/bones ever again plus the mustard sauce didn't taste good either
it was awful. awful taste. awful mustard. awlful fish a lot of bone. the other brands were way better than a cheaper Brand like this one. I wish Walmart would carry the other brand besides the bumblebee one.
