Just like McDonalds

Kay1988 August 15, 2014

Only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was due to the biscuits are on the dry side. Other than that I think they taste just like McDonalds. My mother is in love with sausage egg biscuits from there and has been eating them for a long time. She has tried Jimmy Dean brand and hates them. These are way better, weird but true.

Very good

These are good.Much better the Jimmy Dean. These actually are made with real biscuits unlike other brands.

poor taste

dexter101 July 7, 2012

Originally bought several boxes of GV product 8 to box. Had run out. These were all that was on the shelf. These must be by another mfr. Terrible, no comparsion to others. Not even cooked the same way. Going back to WD their's are better.

gritty biscuits

missiepoo August 31, 2012

The biscuits are gritty, it's like eating biscuits with sand in them. I bought these years ago, in a larger box size, they were ok but I've bought this size two different times in the last few months and this second box is no better than the first.

Couldn't Eat These!

EastTNLady January 27, 2015

These are awful! When I first opened the plastic wrap, before heating the sandwich, I noticed a smell which I found unpleasant. I heated this and tried eating it but could only take a couple of bites. I thought maybe I could eat it without the sausage and it would be ok to eat only biscuit and egg (I had already removed the cheese, as I don't like cheese with my eggs), but it still did not taste good at all. I gave up and threw it away. I think I'm going to take the rest of them back and ask for a refund, if I can find my receipt. I had previously tried the Great Value croissants with sausage/egg/cheese, and they were ok - not great, but ok - but the biscuit sandwiches must have been made by a different company. The only reason I bought the biscuit sandwiches was that my store did not have the croissants. I was hoping these biscuits would be an improvement. My favorite brand has discontinued theirs and I have not yet found a satisfactory substitute, but I could at least eat everything I've tried - until now!

The worst taste ever!!!

Countryboyshopper August 16, 2014

These even. Smell awful. When cooking the first smell is the popcorn butter used in the biscut then as it gets done the rotton meat smell starts. I took one bite and almost gaged. Even my dog would not eat this he buried it. Our local walmart only wants to carry JD and this pice of garbage they got rid of the good Tenesee pride!
