This senior, Senior has rated the shredded cheeses high in the past and, yhis one's no exception. I use it (many flavors) on salads, melted on burritos and burgers, cold cut sandwiches , casseroles and other foods calling for melted or just cheese. Fast, easy and a pretty good price. Good taste is a key.
I had always just used Mild Cheddar, but was introduced to Sharp in the past 2 years. I love Sharp and eat it all the time. This Sharp is great and I had a funny incident because of it recently. I made Macaroni and Cheese for the first time and I gave friends some for their dinner. The 15 yr old daughter asked what the funny spice was. She was used to Mild and the Sharp put her off a bit. She did finish though. I recommend this as a great Sharp Cheddar at a reasonable price. I use it on everything.
Mr Desmond is always very efficient, considerate and so very polite!! We absolutely love when he picks our order and we appreiicate him so much!!! He picks our order as we would!!
I'm pleased to say that your employees have done a good job of delivering the food to me. Thank you very much!!! I'm paralyzed so I can't come into your store.
This cheese is quite good. I use it in all my cooking that calls for cheese. I don't mind the very slight difference in melting over hand shredded and pre shredded is considerably easier.
I used to get three of the smaller bags per month and I would still run out, so I bought this extra big package 1 time, and it lasted all month. I seemed to get so much more from this one large package of cheese for a much cheaper price about 40% savings. It's worth buying the larger package it doesn't spoil and lasts weeks
It's the perfect topping for salads, sandwiches or a baked dish. You have to melt it if it's a sandwich or spaghetti. It's a lot of cheese for not a lot of money.
I'm not sure if the 2 pound bag of cheese is normally wet inside or if I was just unlucky. Normally we purchase the 1 pound bag and it's always been fine, no excess moisture and the cheese unaffected. This two pound bag offered up some cheese that was actually wet and slimy, instead of soft and creamy. The cheese affected were the bits physically touching the apparently damp bag. The remainder of that big bag was fine, easy to use, shredded correctly and nominally tasty. I'll continue to use the Great Value Shredded Cheddar but never again in the 2 Pound bag.
I love all cheese but sharp cheddar is one of my favorites. This cheese is pretty good for the price. Yes there are better cheddars out there but not at this price. I like to sprinkle this on a tortilla and microwave it till the cheese melts and them pile in meat and veg like a burrito. So good. I also like it on baked potatoes and in my salads. It melts really good, tastes like cheddar, has a nice bit of protein and doesn't break the bank. I bet it would be great sprinkled over a nice casserole or in biscuits. Well now I'm going to have to make some more biscuits.
This bag went moldy when I tried to use it I was shocked to find mold won't buy the big bag again have been buying the big bag for quite some time never went moldy before will buy the smaller size in the future can't justify the price when I had to throw almost the whole bag away because of mold I was very sorry I had to throw it away
