Great Value Sharp Cheddar Finely Shredded Cheese, 5 lb Bag

Higher quality then I thought. I would compare this cheese to better brand name shredded cheese. My husband LOVED it so much he went through it in a month. Now his doctor and my husband's wife has forbidden it's purchase sadly bad husband. 🥰loved the quality of the cheese, there was no "generic cheese" feel, taste, or melt; I highly recommend especially if you want a shredded cheese that melts like named brand smaller packages has a great taste for a good price!

I love cheese and I have found that buying a 5 lb package of it last a lot longer than the smaller packages But like everything else, this product is too high of a price, although they did lower the price from $18 and something to $17 and something.

It's perfectly good cheese. i use for mac and cheese, casseroles, sandwiches, melting on soups and garlic bread, anything. It might not be super sharp, but it's convenient to have a huge bag of it sitting in the fridge. I sometimes cut it with some other cheeses (parmesan, gruyere, tart goat cheese etc) to add a little extra zing.

We eat a lot of cheese and we are a gluten free family. If you are gluten free this cheese a huge plus! It tastes like regular cheese ( because it is) and it has the least amount of additives. It's way more affordable than most cheese labeled "Gluten Free".

I bought this cheese a few years ago, and it was too powdery. I needed to rinse the cheese before using it, to get the anti cake material off the cheese so it would taste better and melt well enough. I stopped buying it, until now. I'm glad I bought it again because now, it's just right. The flavor is terrific and it melts beautifully. And thank goodness I don't have to wash my cheese now LOL.

I love cheese, no really, I would marry it if I could. But I can't, so I devour it with the gusto of a dog doing zoomies! The taste is extra sharp, the price is on point, and the shred is nice and fat. I divide into 5 ziplock bags and freeze. Put one in the fridge and it's ready to go... (in my MOUTH!). If you want to shred your life away and get something else... GOOD, more for me!

This tastes really good we were surprised It is not bland tasting at all. Nice sharp taste but not overly sharp to the point it smells i have tadted cheese that was sharp that tasted extra sharp and smelly. Not this. We use for burritos, tacos, salads , toasted subs and cheesy melts top off casseroles and pizzas. Its actually good we recommend this it goes a long ways too. Little pricey but not too pricey compared to other packaging sizes.

This shredded cheese actually tastes like cheese. A nice light sharp flavor. I buy it in this big pack and put half in a freezer ziplock bag and freeze it. The other half in the fridge. When it defrosts you cannot tell it had been frozen. We use it almost everyday at my house. Very tasty. Very versatile.

Great value. Tasty cheese. Melts nicely. Big frustration is packaging. Why go thrifty on plastic packaging? Suggestion, a reopen zipper and/or plastic that can handle rolling up several times for storing /dispensing. The cheese and value are great. Packaging was the only complaint because it ripped right down the middle. I will purchase again.

I was in cheese lovers heaven when I seen this gigantic amount of cheese and cheddar cheese no less, fora affordable pocketbook friendly price. I decided to make homemade baked mac and cheese....it melted perfect and tasted absolutely delicious but this cheese had a dry and very gritty feeling when in your mouth and it was very noticible and all that ate it complained.....since I still had half a bad left days later I decide to make another batch, and the same thing happened.....I cannot recommend this cheese to others and I will not be buying it again in the future.
