Great Value Sharp Cheddar Finely Shredded Cheese, 8 oz Bag

I LOVE this cheese! It has really great flavor. It's one of my favorite ingredients for homemade salads and burritos. When I started using this cheese, I didn't tell my husband, and without any kind of prompting, he said to me something along the lines of, “Wow! I really like this cheese.” So now I keep buying it over and over again. I highly recommend it! And the price, for what you get is unbeatable.

I like cheese alot! When I was a youngster, my mom would slice and put the block cheddar cheese on a few Ritz Crackers, and we would "go to town", chomping on this snack. She also would save me a "swallow" of coffee after I begged her, " please" so many times. Anyway, yes, this packaged cheese is a must have in my home. I put cheese on everything, macaroni, spaghetti, rice, eggs, salads, crackers, pop corn. You get the picture! I like the sharpness to the cheese. It mixes well with other cheese too!

This is a budget-friendly staple prized for its convenience and quick melting properties. I like to keep these packets of cheese in the fridge at all times. I like to cook with it, for the main thing. Secondly, I always sprinkle a little on my dogs food every day. She loves the flavor as much as I do . As for me, I like it in my cooking, but I just can't help sprinkling some into a bowl and snack on the cheese…..all by itself! There's no preparation because it's already shredded! There's always time for a bite or two!

Great Value products truly are a great value. I have only purchased one or two items I didn't care for but overall, I've always been happy with the great value brand from Walmart.. I do appreciate the basic things in life that I enjoy using on a regular basis are within the Great Value family of brands and I can enjoy delicious cheese like this for an affordable price. I've never been into name brands I always choose store brands first because they are excellent quality and comparable in all the expensive name brand stuff.

This is soft and fresh cheese, which melts evenly and has a full flavor. I think it compares well to the more expensive brands, and the sharp cheddar tastes amazing on everything from eggs to burgers to taco casserole. We like to make cheddar chips by putting these on parchment paper and tossing them in the microwave for 40 seconds.

I love cheese--especially sharp cheddar cheese, this is fresh as I have found all the Great Value brand dairy items to be, love the cheese, the milk, sour cream and especially the Heavy Whipping Cream which I use daily for my coffee creamer! It's the best of all brands I've tried!

I use to be a "brand" buyer when it would come to buying my groceries. My Momma was always a very strict "brand" buyer!! It was always a known fact that when you were picking up something for her at the grocery store, you knew exactly what brand to buy! Of course, that thought process was because of the times she started out buying those name brands because you didn't hear of very many different brands to choose from, or at least that's the way I remember! Now, I consider myself older which would have made her consider herself even older! Once out on my own, I followed in her certain brand buying footsteps until I finally realized there are very GOOD alternatives to certain brands, even some that are better! Great Value brand foods, I really enjoy buying because not only do they have a great taste, like the Great Value Sharp Cheddar Cheese, often you can save some on the price and that gives me a great feeling! So, when you have it in your mind of a certain brand you will not differ from, take a chance on Great Value, you just might find yourself reaching for that brand first instead of the brand you normally do!! It took me a minute to start changing my thinking on trying different brands and I wish I hadn't waited so long, but now I know, I'm not compromising on the taste, just my pocket!!! This shredded cheddar cheese is so delicious. You can taste that crisp sharpness of it. It melts good on your tacos. I put it on everything. I put it on spaghetti you name it if I'm making it it has the shredded cheddar on it. It's so delicious.
