This cheese melts well and tastes were good. Besides other uses I use a small piece of cheese to add a Prednisone pill and roll it up and feed it to my Maltipoo Macy in order to keep her alive This tasted good and is very soft to be able to roll it up. Macy likes her medicine because she loves this cheese.

I placed several slices on a charcuterie board along with Brie, Manchego, and several assorted smoked meats. My friends at my dinner were impressed with the smooth creamy texture and even more amazed with the uniformity of the shape. We ditched all the pretentious items and made grill cheeses instead. The cheese melted perfectly and uniformly. The party was a huge success! Buy it! Thank you.

First, it is impossible to find fat-free cheese. Second, if there is any other place that does sell it, it does not taste very good. I don't think there's any difference in the fat-free from Walmart than any American pre-sliced cheese that you can buy anywhere else. Actually, a very good lunch/snack is a pumpernickel bagel sandwich with this cheese, lettuce and tomato and onions. Now, I'm having a problem finding pumpernickel bagels. Maybe Walmart could start selling these!

I buy this cheese almost weekly as I use it nearly daily. The macros are great, it's cheap and tasty, and it's excellent if you want to make a grilled cheese sandwich. It's the only fully fat free sliced cheese my Walmart carries, and I'm not complaining one iota. My only issue with this cheese is that it's super similarly wrapped like the regular fat sliced cheese, and sometimes associates don't notice they've pulled the wrong one for my order. Luckily, since they switched the fat free font to pink, it happens less and less.

Walmart is the only store I know of that carries fat free American cheese slices. This is an economical, heart healthy alternative to full or reduced fat cheese. It melts well and has a good flavor. I melt it on veggie burgers, tomato and cheese sandwiches, and even pasta. I've been buying it for years. Thank you, Walmart, for carrying this product!

If you are eating American Cheese, this is perfectly fine. It is NOT CHEESE. American cheese is an American thing....a product, taste. This has the taste. Individually wrapped means they last for a loooong time in the fridge. Maybe even a looooong time on a countertop? IDK.

Great price and not bad on nutritional value. Better off health wise to buy real cheese, but everyone is trying to cut cost where they can. These work on sandwiches, but still prefer real cheese not man made artificial cheese. BTW, that's why they can them singles because they can't market them as a cheese product. Wording is a way around the truth that is used in marketing every product. Pay attention to "may", "might" and "could". This is a legal wording used so a company can't be held accountable when their product doesn't do what it says it does. Marketing singles instead of cheese allows the illusion legally. Teeth whitening products use wording and commercials small print at the bottom of the screen says for dramization purposes only. Companies take advantage of people who don't know any better. Really shameful to treat people like idiots.

The sodium for both this and Velveeta are very close: 260 and 280 mg. Yet Velveeta has a distinctly more salty flavor. However, I'm not much into salty foods. A 26-oz round can of salt lasts me well over 5 years (I'm guessing because I cannot remember when I last bought salt). This cheese is a little more dry than Velveeta accounting for its slower and less gooey melting, but that also means it is less sticky, and stays where it was put instead of running off when heated. This is not a cheese you'd use for fondu. For a slice of fat-free cheese, it tastes similar to Velveeta, but at almost half the price. Of course, there are folks that choose to buy Velveeta or this cheese, and then complain these don't taste like real cheese. Well, duh, these are not "real" cheese, because they don't have the fat of real cheese. This cheese: 0 gm fat. Velveeta: 2 gm fat. Sargento cheddar: 7 gm fat. Cream cheese: 10 gm fat. Lard: 13 gm fat. You don't eat non-fat cheese as a substitute for real cheese. You eat non-fat cheese because you need to diet by removing the fat and reducing to less than half the calories. Your other choice is to forego cheese altogether, so you have no complaints because you won't be eating this or any other cheese. On a diet, it's hard to add cheese because of all the fat, so this gives you a cheat to add some cheese flavor.

selected do not substitute. shopper came out with five nonfat and five regular as if it was some kind of mistake. was good about using my phone to effect a return for 'damaged' and got card credited successfully, but this is a hardball tactic where walmart was out of stock and substituted anyway with a product which looks very similar.

I started purchasing this item so that I could get more calcium and Vitamin D in my diet without a lot of fat. The nutrition information on the website stated each slice contained 15% of your daily Vitamin D and 30% of your daily calcium. That would be great! However, I happened to chek the package on my recent purchase and it plainly reads 0% Vitamin D and 10% calcium! I would not reommend this cheese as it is pretty much empty of any nutritional value. There are other fat free cheeses on the market that give you a good amount of calcium and also Vitamin D per serving. Walmart should update the website to reflect the accurate nutrition information. That is what the customer goes by when purhcasing online products. Please do be considerate, Walmart!
