Great Value Sliced Cooked Ham, 32 oz

This ham is great! It's not too salty, doesn't blow the palate away with artificial smoke flavour and the texture is very satisfying. Unlike other lunch meat this is sliced thick enough to make a person know that it's on there, whatever the item may be.

This is a practical option if you're looking for something you can use across different meals without overthinking it. The slices are a good thickness, not too thin where they tear apart, and not too thick where they're hard to work with. The flavor is mild and straightforward, which actually works well because it pairs easily with different things. I've used it for sandwiches, quick breakfast plates, and even chopped it up into eggs, and it holds up well without overpowering everything else. Texture is consistent, and it doesn't feel overly dry. It also heats up well without becoming rubbery, which is something I always pay attention to with this type of product. Convenient for sandwiches but I use it more to cut up and put into salads, vegetables, for a snack with celery or baby carrots and even add it to cheese grits or oatmeal. It's a better value than some brands but all products of this type cost more than I like. Overall a good product to have on hand.

It's a good cheap ham for stuffing, sandwiches everyday use. If you are buying for one or 2 people, it sours fast. Buy the one-pound version. If you want to buy fine ham for display on board this is not the one.

great in my morning eggs, works in the gravy, and doesnt hurt my wallet. Another daily lunch item for me along with my roast beef. the quality is always good, price always good, and while i enjoy a more expensive brand on occasion for the richer taste, this is the daily go to that keeps me in check.

Satisfies my taste for deli ham. Great in sandwiches. No odd taste, not sweet, just ham. Add to salads, eggs, wrap in corn tortilla w/ cheese for quick snack or meal. Freeze in multi portions to thaw over time cuz product gets sour if not consumed w/i 3 wks.

The packing is a pain it doesn't always reseal or sometimes it is very difficult to open. It has good flavor, but getting it out of the package it is easily torn, but I am a older woman. It is lower calorie,higher protein, but you have to watch your salt.

I buy this for the cost, often times there is a bounty part that I don't love but it's a compromise I make to get consistent shape and size vs deli items.

When I received the ham, it looked fine, but the moment I opened it, it smelled bad and was sticky. I didn't check the expiration date. It completely grossed me out. All the other products were fine; I felt bad returning just that one item, so I ended up having to throw it in the trash. .

I really like this product when I first started using it a couple years ago in the last few months The price is increased 25% and the quality has decreased about 75%. it's not 97% that free it's grizzly it's not cut straight or consistently falls apart when you pull it out of the package. put it back the way it was or take it off the shelf because it is not good anymore
