Great Value Sliced Hickory Smoked Original Bacon, 16 oz

I like my bacon super crispy, so i get the privilege of really seeing how much grease is in it. well, its bacon people so who cares! Honestly, it wasn't too bad. I used the grease to make gravy. It and the bacon had a great flavor as bacon is really about how they infuse it with the liquid smoke. when not done right, the flavor cooks away. I wouldn't use it if i wanted the bacon to be more a main side. Get some premium bacon and you will taste a difference and pay the difference, but that is the weekend breakfast. For an easy win with flavor and texture and cheap enough to keep on hand, I am still liking great value.

I had been buying this product thinking it was a whole pound only to find out it was the 12oz package so I switched to the 16oz size , with was about 25 cents cheaper %26 am very satisfied, labels and quantity of items can me very misleading always inspect %26 check carefully

Y'all, it's bacon! And I'm sorry if you don't eat pork or need to cut back on salt but brother, this is the king of foods. Here's something to try. It's called maple-thyme bacon. Lay out strips of bacon on a foil-lined baking sheet and run a bead of maple syrup down the center of each one and use your finger to spread it around. Then pull off a few thyme leaves from fresh sprigs and sprinkle it on. Then put the tray in an oven heated to 450 and let it get good and crispy. You're welcome!

I bought this bacon several times. I have no issues with the flavor or anything else. it's bacon. I would recommend it if you want to save a couple bucks on bacon I eat it as bacon. I may put it on a turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes or something, but other than that I eat it as bacon

This was my first time trying the Great Value brand Hickory Smoked Bacon and I will be buying this from now on! Less fat than any brand I've tried, full of rich flavor! Cooks to a perfect crisp! I used this package to make a breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! Highly recommend grabbing fresh croissants from Walmarts Bakery to go with your bacon! You must try this!

Great Value Sliced Hickory Bacon is a terrific value at Walmart. Compared to name brands, this bacon is equal to, if not better, and at a great price. You won't get any better bacon.

I purchase this bacon because it is affordable and tastes good. The price was high for a while and it has dropped recently, so I am happy about that. Some. packages are great. others are sliced so thin that it falls apart as you peel them away from each other.

1 of the two 2 bacons that I bought was discolored it was very obvious as soon as you see it my question is why was it picked and why was it put with my order why not just take it off the floor and put it under damaged goods not place it with a customer order ive been order this way through Walmart for a good 5-6 months straight and this is the first time im a little disappointed Walmart I hope next order will be better and is there anyway of me getting a refund on that bacon

This is the second time in a row I'm had to return this bacon. First time the seal was broken and the bacon was grey. Today there was very little meat in the slice. All fat. Couldn't even get it separated to cook. A whole pound yield only enough for one BLT.

Unfortunately I was given bacon dated September 5, 2025. I had frozen them when I got home and just used them today, December 10, 2025. I don't remember this ever happening. The bacon is usually fresh.
