Great Value Sliced Strawberries with Sugar, 23.2 oz (Frozen)

This is my favorite. I've ordered it many times. I defrosted in the refrigerator because it's a frozen product. I plan ahead at least 24 hours. I have put it over pound cake. I have put it over angel food cake. I've eaten it in a bowl with a teaspoon and put whipped cream over it. I will continue to purchase at the flavor is absolutely wonderful and it's personal.

These frozen sliced strawberries in sugar are surprisingly delicious and way more convenient than dealing with fresh berries that go bad too fast. The strawberries come perfectly sliced, and the light sugar coating brings out their natural sweetness without being overpowering. Once they thaw, they taste almost like homemade strawberry topping. They're great for smoothies, desserts, yogurt bowls, pancakes, or just eating straight out of the container if you like something sweet and fruity. The texture stays nice after thawing , soft but not mushy, and the flavor is consistently good. If you want an easy way to keep sweet strawberries on hand year-round, these are absolutely worth it. A simple, reliable freezer staple.

these are good but packed with sugar, has a lot of leaves. sometimes get a batch with "funkiness" in tem an makes whole container taste bad. i started buying fresh frozen without sugar. delicious! no bad taste after all. Had about 6/12 with at least some nasty flavor or entire carton is rotten on sugared ones. These fresh frozen ones are delicios.

great taste with just enough sweetness. sadly the price took quite a leap . but before that price hike we enjoyed buying this and adding the fresh sliced fruit at maybe 2 times the fruit to one pint of this for strawberry shortcake . once in a while you might find a bit of leaf in the mix or even a bit of stem but that happens if I make it at home too so I simply remove it and enjoy . when the price was lower you had a hard time finding it in stock . with the new price I have not found that a problem anymore but it is now just for special occasions now rather then just a nice Sunday afternoon .

My daughter-in-law requested an angel for CAKE each year for her birthday. She always likes to have sliced strawberries on top of her slice. These strawberries and syrup are the perfect pairing and add the much needed darkness to the angel food cake. I like the size these are sold in in the value.

I used to only be able to find frozen strawberries in a small carton 8 oz which was not enough. Then I could only find the whole ones and that didn't work in my recipe. The small carton always had the green leaves in with it and the strawberry part was often just mush. I am very pleased with this brand because you are actually getting what you are paying for. They are really strawberries not trash or mush.

Strawberries frozen in syrup like this have become nearly impossible to find anywhere else. I am so grateful they are still stocked at Walmart! I hope they are never discontinued. The flavor and quality is exceptional and I would recommend them for many uses from baking, to drinks or just a snack this product is delicious.

WE LOVE THESE SLICED SWEETENED FROZEN STRAWBERRIES BUT...THEY ARE A LITTLE TOO SWEET FOR OUR LIKING. NO WORRIES THOUGH, WE HAVE FIGURED OUT TO ALSO BUY A BAG OF WHOLE FROZEN STRAWBERRIES, AND JUST MIX SOME OF THOSE IN WITH THE SLICED SWEETENED...JUST RIGHT NOW!!! SO NICE TO GET TO HAVE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER!!!

this is perfect, saves me the time of doing it myself, cleaning then cutting up strawberries, adding sugar, blending all together. These strawberries taste fresh and there are several large pieces in the container, it's not wimpy. I use them primarily to add to my yogurt and are awesome over cheesecake.

I used to love this Strawberry topping. But not only has the price jumped up, the taste and quality has fallen considerably. The sweetness has become more tart than sweet. The pieces of strawberries is more like halves now. It was a lot of hard pieces (like the strawberries weren't ripe enough). I was so disappointed with the regression of once was my "Go-to" for strawberry topping.
