Excellent quality and value. Too many times I hear that dried beans are too crunchy in the final recipe. Not so if you soak them for at least 8 hours and then throughly rinse before cooking.

I cooked these little red beans in the Instant Pot on pressure cooker setting with an onion and a couple of bay leaves and salt and pepper! They turned out perfect and tasted great!

Best for red beans and rice
These bean hold their shape cook well no rocks etc. went back to Walmart to buy more bags. Not on the shelves at all very disappointing

Good beans
The beans have always been very good except some, maybe 5%-10% from the last package I bought did not absorb any water after soaking in plenty of water for almost 20 hours. Perhaps some very old beans were included when packaged? I had to pick them out before cooking.

After hours of cooking these beans remain hard
It takes all day to cook these beans and still they are hard. Large red beans cook up better.
