frozen fresh; cooked fresh! I don't usually buy frozen patties but this will be my new go to. patties were bigger than most other brands. I fix mine on the grill. crispy outside ; juicy inside! the taste reminds me of a flame broiled burger or patty from five guys. burgers taste great with Walmart seasoned potato wedges(cooked in oven). My burgers: wonder bread buns leaf lettuce arugula gallo dill pickles provolone dukes mayo creamy chipotle sauce(taco bell) bacon grill peppers/onions %26 mushrooms seasoned with dash( Mediterranean) black pepper garlic/herb seasoning onion powder 😋
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meat. It's not too thick, not tough, not grizzly. The first time I cooked them, they really weren't what I would call smashed. So the second time, I smashed them after turning, halfway through the cooking time. That gave more of a smash burger. These also make great smashed sliders. One patty makes 4 sliders or 2 double cheese sliders.
I truly hope these burgers never stop being available. My family absolutely LOVES these! Great for making smash burgers. The flavor is perfect! They don't shrink down to nothing when they are fully cooked. I cook them on low heat using my counter top griddle and they come out perfect every time.
This is the first time I tried these burgers.. I don't cook so I microwaved one- a lot of shrinkage but a good flavor and a good texture …any burger that can be microwaved and still be somewhat palatable deserves five stars in my book (and I have tried quite a few that I would never buy again). I hope the quality continues with these squashed burgers. I am 77 need to eat gluten-free have other problems with certain kinds of food so my diet is very limited. I'm thankful to have found these and hope that they continue to be as good.
we were buying the Bubba smash burgers but they were sold out so we tried Holstons and they were a bit too greasy so next time we gave these a try and haven't turned back. they are delicious. juicy in the middle but crisp up on the outside and taste great. I was told they are only a spring/summer item, I sure hope thats not the case!
Amazing flavor and great price. I've tried so many different frozen patties and nothing seems to compare to these. You can actually taste the flavor, the patty is perfect size where you can cook very quickly but still only need one patty on bun and it doesn't seem too small. Highly recommend giving these a try
I really like the flavor (and price!) of these burgers. I don't use two at a time cause one cooks up nicely and fits the bun once it's cooked. I use my air fryer and it makes everything so easy since I don't like to spend a lot of time doing meal prep. The price is right also for someone on a very tight monthly budget. I have bought a box of them every month for the last 5 months.
These Great Value Smash Burgers are the best. I make these on a Friday night, with some potato wedges and cole slaw. My husband has two and loves them. I sometimes saute mushrooms, onions , add that to the burgers, good stuff and it does not break the bank.
I never tried then because when I looked up precooked beef patties, these popped up, so I bought them, because they were the first thing listed on the search list ...I do not own a stove, I only own a microwave. so I ended up throwing the meat away :(
It's hard to rate these. They crisp up okay but don't have a lot of beef flavor. To be honest, I highly recommend Wal-Mart's standard 80/20 burgers over these. If you want smash burgers, get those, smash them first, and then you'll have tastier burgers.
