The Walmart brand of sweet tea water flavoring is much better than Crystal Light or Mio. My only problem with it is it's overpriced for a store brand. Otherwise, it's delicious! You can add lemon or a squirt of the Great Value Peach Tea to make it interesting!
I always made fresh brewed before, but have changed to this sweet tea water enhancer because of the taste. The flavor taste to me like sugar sweet tea, but no sugar calories, it's ready in seconds and no artificial sweetener after taste. I prepare it by the glass, sports bottle or pitcher. Plus I can mix these water enhancers to make my own flavors.
I hate drinking plain water but thanks to Great Value Southern Tea Drink Enhancer I LOVE dinking it now! It truly tastes like drinking tea instead of plain old water. It's a concentrated liquid so you just add a few drops to your water and voila a whole new drink but still with the benefits of water. Also, a small bottle will go a long way. You definitely get your money's worth!
I like this item. I use to drink 3 cases of soda a week. I went from that to drinking only water, which needed something for taste, so I started buying "Great Value Southern Sweet Tea". And since I add it to every water I drink, it is a "Great Value". I like the taste of Southern Sweet Tea but I do buy other ones.
I have used the sweet tea concentrate for several years and will continue to do so. The taste is great, it's easy to use, and no brewing is involved! Being able to control the strength of an individual serving is a big plus as well. I usually prepare iced tea, but a cup of hot sweet tea in winter is a relaxing treat.
This old guy really likes this flavor "Flavor Enhancer". It is easy to use. Just squeeze a few squirts into water (according to the directions or, in my case, to taste) and viola it's cold tea. I like to put a few squirts of lemon juice in mine to make a great iced Tea. I also use the other flavors and pre mix mine in 16 oz. reusable bottles and have drinks ready to grab and go. I think the price is all right but like anyone else, "Hey, Walmart; just a little less?
Nice sweetness ratio, especially if you like your tea light instead of dark as an ugly death. Using less means I can mitigate the sweetness, which is always an issue for me. It tastes like tea with sugar; that IS what you wanted, right? I don't make mine dark but I still always end up transferring it to an opaque container so that it doesn't look like I chew tobacco and carry around a bottle for spit. Tastes nice, it's convenient to use in a way that is to your personal taste, it is VERY reasonably priced and it takes up way less room than a gallon jug of tea in the fridge. The only improvement would be if they could figure out how to make it clear.
Just as good as the high priced brands. Convenient for even when I just want a hint of flavor to plain water. Tastes great. Packs well in the cooler/lunchbag. .
I was pleasantly surprised. If I added to much it was very strong. So, in a 10 oz cup, I would do 2 partial squirts of the liquid. I would add more water when cup was half full, I wouldn't add anymore. So, as time goes by, it becomes weaker. Which imo was very nice.
I love this product, but it is hard to find in stores. Also everytime I order with Walmart.com they say they have 9 but they never make it iI love this product, but it is difficult to find in stores. Additionally, every time I order through Walmart.com, they say they have 9 in stock, but they never include them in my order as it seems they can't find them.n my order as I guess they can't find them.
