SO I was a pringle, freak, then a Staxx freak. I have experience in the canned potato chip genre. Its not something I put on a resume, so hopefully it will help someone here. These have always been fres. The flavor isn't as 'potatoey' as the other two, but good. The texture is different as well. The saltiness is actually perfect, my blood pressure was not affected (kidding) The switch for me is based on cost. "S" brand isnt bad but 50 cents is still a savings. "P" is ridiculous, tripled in price. Unless they now coat these things in gold and crushed diamonds, the price is nuts
Eons ago inna nother life these lil chippies came out ina much similar container. Back in the seventies I remember. Cheech and Chong were just getting famous and so was what they were known for supporting and making movies about. After the movies and substance you would want munchies, right? These lil buggers would fit the bill. And after u ate all the chips u had a handy container to make an implement that rhymes with the latters last name to use for the products they used so much of in the films.
Awesome Great Value Stack Attack Potato Crisps~~~~ This Great Value Stack Attack Original Potato Crisps 5.5 oz can is an absolute win if you want a classic, tasty snack. The crisp texture is totally spot-on, giving you a completely perfect crunch with every single bite. They have a fantastic flavor profile that hits the spot whenever you need a quick savory pick-me-up. It is a super convenient, foolproof staple to keep in the pantry for movie nights or just casual snacking throughout the week. I highly recommend picking up a canister!
Honestly, Tastes Better than Name Brand
Good, but not a 1-to-1 of the name brand. Salty in a way that’s somehow different, and very salty in general. You’re gonna want a full drink with these! There’s also something about the flavor that’s off. Not in a bad way, but again, not equal to the name brand. Regardless: If you’re on a budget and can absolutely not splurge for the name brand, these will likely give you what you’re looking for!
There are certain things I would not buy Great Value brand in but these I do. They are so close to the na me brand it's worth the slight difference i price because every penny counts nowadays. I only wish they had salt and vinegar flavor because they are my son's favorite!
Not ONE of these were unbroken. The can was not dented nor did it show any sign of damage, so at some point before I received it, it must have been shaken like one would shake a canned carbonated beverage before popping the top to spray it all over. Possibly the chips were broken because there is too much space between the stack of chips and the underside of the lid. Solve this by putting more chips in can.
Opened container and disappointed to see there was approx only 75% of tube filled. This is not “damaged during handling” since there were no crumbs in the bottom. Not “packaged with air to protect product during shipping” as the excuse they use for half-empty potato chip bag. These chips are too heavy not to move back and forth in container with air space. Again, no damaged chips laying in the bottom of the container. Just less chips! Also, tried to add photos of partially filled container, but walmart kept telling me “an error occurred”. Imagine that
I had these shipped to me. What I received was potato chip crumbs. There might've been a dozen whole chips in each can (I purchased three).
Do not buy these unless you like a container filled with of crumbs and pieces of chips. This is the second time I have given these a chance and the top couple of chips are great and the rest of the container are broken pieces of chips. I have bought all 3 flavors and they are all the same.
