It taste good and if you want some a little hot seperate in two bowl and jalapino to the second one. and some of the juice. to your taste. little at a time and try it. then more.
If you want regular jarred cheddar cheese sauce (not queso), get this one. The other GV jar cheese recipe that says “cheese sauce” or whatever is nasty. Get the stadium cheese one. It's so much better I don't even know why they bother making the other one.
Yes it's a good dip. But that's not all it's good for Use it in soups, makes it extra creamy, casseroles, and sauces. Mix into spicy meat and potato mix for empanadas. I also use it for cheese enchiladas in and to pour over them and bake 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.. Potatoes Au Gratin, scalloped, or with potatoes quartered, add pre cooked chopped up bacon, dots of butter, great value processed cheese cut up into chunks, pour some of this cheese over, bake until potatoes are fork tender add some shredded cheese until it melts some. That is a great dish, add some extra bacon and say it's the main dish. I keep 4 jars on hand at all times.
This cheese dip is like the cheese you get at the ball field! It has the perfect flavor, not too salty like other brands. I simply warm it up, throw it on some tortilla chips with some jalapenos on top! Thid makes for a great movie night snack! Definitely recommend 👌
My husband and teens like to use the son almost everything. Like to add it to their nachos, their chicken patties, their chicken nuggets, their hamburgers. You name it they add it to it. A nice little salty cheesy addition to any meal. It's not too salty, but it has that flavor that you want of cheese.
Tried some nacho cheese sauce, but didn't care for the odor or aftertaste. Guess nacho isn't my thing. Tried this which is more like cheese. Doesn't have a strong taste, but akin to melted Velveeta without the heating or mess. Use it by dipping crackers into the jar, or pouring out into a bowl to dip chips. Low on Weight Watchers points while adding some cheese flavor. Tried other cheese dip flavors, but I like this one. Will buy again.
This used to be the best cheese dip on the market. Then about late 2024 WalMart/Great Value changed the product. No longer is it a smooth, creamy cheddar cheese dip, but now a thicker, grainier gloppy muck that looks curdled and doesn't taste as good. WalMart ruined it. And the worst part is that the stores don't even stock a substitute dip that is similar. Another example of how WalMart is now FAILING its customers. Would rate ZERO stars if possible. Wake up WalMart - LOOK AT YOUR REVIEWS AND CHANGE IT BACK !!!
I usually don't leave a review unless an item is worthy of it. This taste bad or old and even looks bad. It doesn't even taste like cheese. I ate it hesitantly with every bite but its just not for me again. I wiill pay extra and buy the good stuff from now on out.
Running nasty stuff. I thought chilling it might create a thicker texture, it didn't. To be absolutely transparent, I used cheese Wiz to get my stubborn dog to take her medicine. The name brand product works fantastically. Not only is this product so thin that there was no hiding a tiny pill in it but MY DOG turned her nose up at it. Pretty bad when a dog won't even try it.
I ordered this particular brand because it didn't show if it was mild or hot so I just assumed that it had no real like bite to it other than it's just a cheese with no real spice but unfortunately, when I got the jar it clearly states on there it's medium but nowhere in the picture or the description of the jar in the photo. Does it show that the flavor is of a medium type spicy so that was real disappointing to me I'm not real happy about that.
