Great Value Strawberry Nonfat Greek Yogurt, 32 oz Tub

GV Greek Strawberry Yogurt is one of my regular buys. When I'm on a yogurt kick I eat a lot of it. No problems with this brand as long as I stir it well to distribute that top layer. Not sure if the top layer is a preservative, but without that stir it can have sort of a chemical taste. Same with cottage cheese. I like this yogurt and suggest trying it.

Since I have mobility issues this is one of my lunch/dinner/light afternoon snacks and the taste is great as well as the texture. I have to watch my weight so I find the ingredients and nutrients information helpful in maintaining my calorie and carbohydrates and all that comes along with it intake. I prefer this over the other products that I have reviewed and am satisfied with everything about it. Even the cost is just a few cents cheaper

I used to purchase the more expensive Greek yogurt brands, paying more than I really needed to spend. Then my more expensive brand was sold out and since I eat yogurt daily, I decided to purchase the great value brand and for Much Less that the larger name brands. The creamy texture, taste were still there, but cost much less. You can save a lot of money, the Great Value brand is a solid brand and I have started using the store brand on many items. Give this yogurt a try. I eat it as a breakfast item, a desert item and for a snack item in the afternoon with half a banana. Good stuff.

A combination of frozen strawberries, and a banana added to this yogurt and you will say-"I can have this smoothie, or dessert any time of the day or night for deliciousness -at a GREAT VALUE!" Of course, today-as I looked at my favorite yogurt, I took a large spoon out of the drawer and enjoyed it right out of the container----I told family members-- to get their own because -"this one is mine" PINEAPPLE-CRUSHED. THE CONTAINER. WITH THE BIG , BEAUTIFUL STRAWBERRY IS WHAT CAUGHT MY EYE. I REUSE THE CONTAINER. THIS PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.

This is the only yogurt I buy, two cartons every two weeks like clockwork. All by my lonesome and set in my ways, I can buy what satisfies me and this yogurt fills the bill. Creamy %26 full of flavor AND less expensive? Oh yeah, this sweet indulgent treat works for me.. Downside? I still need to resist scarfing down the whole container. How many calories does that burn?

When you need yogurt for a recipe there's no need to buy name brand especially when Walmart brand is on the same level! Thanks to Great Value we saved alot of money when making just a few of the crazy things we made for Halloween party we have for the kids of the family.

My local Walmart stocks many yogurt brands so I confess that my 1st purchase of GV Greek-style Yogurt was based on price... However, its consistent quality, great taste and rich texture have earned a permanent spot on my refrigerator door. Many adults experience "Lactose Intolerance" to some degree and avoid 'most all dairy products. However, the extra filtering to produce Greek-style yogurt removes most of any remaining lactose so more adults can enjoy this healthy treat without being "Inconvenienced."

This yogurt is good for the price but not my favorite. I think the texture is less like a typical greek yougurt, it's not super creamy, more like regular style. The flavor is fine. It's acceptable but I would probably not buy it over some of the other greek yogurt brands out there.

Despite my average rating, I recommend this product if you like a HEAVY, GREEK yogurt. I don't. I prefer the softer flavor of the name brands, but I'm not generally a big fan of Greek yogurt, so because I wasn't fond of this, it's probably a decent Greek. :) It's thick, it has a real yogurty taste. I was not crazy about the texture, but based on the descriptions of how Greek is SUPPOSED to taste and what the consistency is supposed to be, this meets those criteria. It's a thicker Greek than the Yoplait, with a sharper taste, and that is my point of reference for Greek. The strawberry flavoring helped me to finish this... plus adding in a bunch of regular yogurt to get it to the texture I can tolerate (suggesting in case you find yourself in the same yogurt boat).

The taste of the Great Value Strawberry yogurt is better, but still far from ideal. This Greek yogurt has a weird texture and tastes like it has bananas in it. The chunks of strawberries are slimy and awful. If you're looking for a value strawberry yogurt, go to the place that requires quarters for carts.
