I hesitate to write this review because I don't want people to catch on to such a great pizza! I've tried many stuffed crust frozen pizzas and this one tops them all! Walmart brand is completely better than name brand and in such a great way! So much cheese, pepperoni and perfectly seasoned! Simply delicious!!
Surprise, surprise, surprise it was one of the best pizza I had the whole entire time we had snow. I made five of them different kinds of different brands. Trying to just have something in case the electric went out. This was my favorite out of all the pizzas that were all stuffed crust
This stuffed crust pizza is so good. The great value brand is as good or better than others. I also like the rising crust option. There are toppings on the entire pizza and not just a bit of meat on a small area. I like using my stone pizza pan. The crust browns evenly. This is a definite time saver when you are too tired to order take out and have to go after it. The meal is ready in no time . I don't feel like it needs additional toppings added. The left overs heat up and taste like it just came out of the oven. This is usually in my freezer for when you have unexpected meals to prepare. Great deal for the money.
I can't say this enough, if you like, did Giorno‘s, look no more. This quality pizza in my opinion surpasses DG Giorno‘s, and taste and quality. You get a much more real tomato sauce. Very juicy, cheese has an authentic cheesy taste and not plain. And the crust has that Oil possibly olive oil coating that gives it an amazing restaurant like quality would it bakes. It also has an extreme amount of seasoning such as Italian on top that go a long way on flavor. Usually you get expensive pizzas and the flavor is about 60% there, this one's definitely at 90% . I spent 15 minutes figuring out how to write a Walmart review just because of how blown away. I am with this frozen pizza and it's quality for the price. Lots of toppings as well.. there's a picture of an uncooked and a cooked version of the pizza attached to the review.
This was really good to be honest. You wouldn't think because it's "Great Value" it would be. I worked for Nestle a while back and they actually told us that they made pizza for Walmart. They make it for tombstone too. So, I figured I'd give it a try. Was pleasantly surprised. I actually think it was better than any tombstone pizza I've had.
I loved it. I'm from the south so I like for the sauce to be sweet. its very sweet and flavorful. Its reminiscent of the stuffed crust pizza they had at school many years ago, but with a wonderful garlic butter on it. I actually dont like pepperoni but the pieces were easy enough to move to one side before baking. It was just big enough to share between two people. Mine came out beautifully and I'll definitely be getting more of these.
We have gotten these several times. We like the crust and there is plenty of meat on it. My 80 yr. old mom asķs for it. The crust isn't cardboard and no indigestion.
I always have to add more cheese to store-bought pizzas and this one was no exception. Also, fresh from the oven, the sauce was watery and detracted from the otherwise tasty pizza. The cheese-filled crust was delicious, and good even the next day when we ate cold leftovers.
there was nothing particularly wrong with this pizza, but its not for me. it tastes like someone added a whole cup of white sugar to the sauce. im assuming its the sweet basil which was pleasant! but the sugar in the sauce made this way too overbearing %26 i became nauseated.
My son says it's TOO GREASY!! He begged me to by Red Baron or DiGorno. We will not be buying this generic brand anymore. I is worth the extra $2.00 to buy a more quality product.
