This is a very good and easy meal when you have a busy day and not much time to prepare dinner. My husband baked them in the toaster oven so we could do other things while they baked. Very nice aroma too. There was plenty of sauce , they cooked well, didn't need any extra time as some frozen foods do. There was a nice blend of cheese in the shells and we enjoyed the sauce too. We made 2 pieces of sourdough garlic cheese bread and a nice wine with it. This will definitely be a product we order regularly.
There are sooo good! We have this atleast 2 x's a month. Very filling! Quick,i cook in microwave 5 min.,then season w' garlic salt n pepper, add shredded cheese and bake, till melted. Usually have steamed broccoli and Bakery's Everything Bread w' garlic butter toasted,YUM!! TRUST ME,U WON'T B DISAPPOINTED!
I'm from NYC which has some of the best Authentic Italian restaurant. My family is the Italian and Irish and they can cook some awesome Italian dishes and don't get me started on the Italian pastries, cookies and my favorite Biscotti. I don't always have time to make meals by scratch so I get some frozen dishes oconvience. I tried these stuffed shells and I wasn't surprised! They are pretty good! I added my own hand grated romano and parmesan cheese and I love them when I am craving stuffed shells. The cheese inside the shells is really very good. Try them, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as well.
I am giving 5 stars for the taste. These are really yummy for a frozen entree. As many have mentioned, there are only 4 large shells in the package. You can't tell until you get them cooked and opened. It does say one serving is one shell and 1/2 cup sauce. I suppose cooking a little spaghetti on the side would stretch this. I wish they would make a true family size package of these.
So glad I didn't have to make this myself. You only get 4 shells, but enough sauce for 3 times that. Cheesy. There is meat which I didn't notice at first. I think all and all I enjoyed them. Filled with ricotta. Just wish there was more than 4. I saved the abundance of sauce for other pasta.
Does not in any way look like the picture! I was expecting manicotti size shells, Nope, there were 4 small stuffed shells that feeds 1 or 2. I had to do a deep dive to get to the shells, there was a lot of sauce! The cheese, sauce, and stuffed shells were pretty good. I will reuse the leftover sauce. I think the price is fair and I will buy again. I used my convection oven for 50mins.
was looking to try. for the money thought was a deal. but when i seen what was in it not that much of a deal. there was only 4 shells and even though the weight was good found it to be 50% sauce. tast was good but the shell it self was undercooked, pretty hard still. but maybe i didnt cook long enough. i did cook for the max time and still wasnt totally hot.
Sad that I won’t be purchasing these again. I purchased them with high expectations especially for the advertisement of 32oz. However, only 4 medium sized shells with probably a good 25oz of meat sauce. I was disappointed because as a single adult, I bought this so I could have leftovers for work or dinner the next night. Don’t get me wrong, they were good but I wouldn’t pay $7 for it again…
I didn't get to eat it because I thought two pounds of pasta would feed four of us. There are only FOUR shells in this box. This is way overpriced for what you get. It was mostly sauce.
The box makes it appear as though this is a family size meal. There were four shells in the box. Nowhere on the front does it convey that. Only after it was cooked did we realize they were only four in there. Certainly not enough for our family of six. However the kids were all hungry after they ate their one shell for dinner. Very disappointed. Definitely is a waste of money.
