Great Value butter has the same creaminess and flavor as the name brand, also it tastes great and is perfect for cooking and baking. I use both unsalted and salted for everything. When salt is needed I used salted butter and a lot less salt in my recipes.
I love the Great Value brand, I have compared it to others and find to be not only cheaper but tasting same as top name brands or better even. This butter is my go to for almost everything, I use it for desserts, for baking, sometimes in my Keto coffee, I scramble eggs with butter and I love it so much I even cut a piece and eat it straight from the butter stick. Great Value brand is top notch and so very affordable. Good job Walmart, thank you.
You know that moment you open the box and just know it’s the good kind? This butter does that. It melts smooth and golden, not watery, and somehow makes plain vegetables taste like a side dish you actually planned. Scrambled eggs? Forget it — they taste like breakfast at a diner now. It’s creamy, dependable, and doesn’t play games when you bake. Great Value really nailed the basics here — and that’s saying something.
Great Value's butter - is totally equal to any more expensive butter you choose to buy. Great value for the money. With cost of today's food - I have found the Walmart brand items - equal to.....sometimes "even better" than popular brand names. If you have any doubt - purchase a package of their "Honey Roasted Peanuts" Beats Planters 1,000%. Just one example
BUTTER FACTS: 1. Everything we've been told about butter being harmful is a lie. 2. Butter is natural %26 nutritious; margarine is processed %26 toxic. 3. Whole natural Fat from butter is an essential macronutrient. 4. Everything we've been told about cholesterol is also a lie. 5. Butter is made from milk and salt ; that's it.
Okay I prefer Butter over other butter like substances, and I think for the price this is amazing butter. It is not to salty, and it has a great taste to it, it folds and accents recipes very good, is good on toast, english muffins, about anything you might wanna use butter for. I do not see any downfall with this being the Wal-Mart Great Value Brand of Butter, as I have compared it to Land O Lakes and I will say I prefer this as it actually has flavor where I find the other to be a tasteless stick.
Betty Butler bought some butter. "But," she said, "my butter's bitter. If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter." So Betty Butler bought some butter better than her bitter butter, and she put it in her batter, and her batter wasn't bitter. The End. Anyway, this Walmart brand butter, while likely not from Irish cows, is still fine and affordable, and does standard buttery things.
I will admit that I first tried this butter because of the cost. Saving a few cents/dollars is important to me. Since I had never eaten a store brand butter, I took the leap anyway, and I was not sorry. This butter is comparable to the brand I used to use. I never regretted my choice and it is now my "go to" brand.
These Great Value butter sticks are a great purchase to use for baking in your favorite dessert recipes, melting on top of a delicious baked potato or other vegetables, or any other way you enjoy using butter. It is in a convenient wrapped stick and is cheaper than other similar brands of salted butter.
It’s butter…what really can I say? lol. Just as good as the more expensive brands. I do wish the price for this generic was slightly better, but with “inflation” or whatever is going on in the world, I completely understand. I would give it a 5⭐️ but like I said, just wish the price was a little more decent.
