I've always thought it's a shame that fast food burgers only come with dill pickles. I like sweet pickles much better. I pair these pickles sliced, with chopped with onions, or carmelized onion jam, on all my sandwiches. My favorite combo is Walmart's small pecan smoked sliced ham, chopped multi-color cherry tomatoes and Ray's Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce for extra tangy flavor.
The smell of these pickles instantly take me back 40 years to my mother's pantry. Good memory. The pickle has a good crunch on over 99% of them. Occasionally you get that outlier that taste water logged, but not very often at all and this statement covers dozens of jars of pickles. I eat these little guys every night as a snack along with dill spears.
These pickles are AWESOME! The first thing I noticed was the crunch. I don't think I've ever had a pickle this crunchy. The flavor is great also. I would definitely recommend these.
What is not to love about these little sweet gherkins they are delicious very tasty they make me happy I love the price I love the taste I love everything about these little pickles!!!
I love these but being an elderly woman I have to be careful how many I eat so I don't bite as often but if you don't have to worry about health reasons I buy this every week
Best crunch I've had recently. The Vlasic Gherkins that I ordered at the same time as the Great Value Gherkins had no crunch! Flavor same, no crunch.
Just awful. Instead of cinnamon- clove usual flavor it had dill ? sweet flavor. Just awful! Couldn't use in my devilled eggs, had to make a separate special trip to Publix for their gherkins that I trust. Will never take the chance on flavor again!
I'm a very honest person and I'm asked to write an honest review. I can't actually grade the pickles on crunch or snack value because the taste is so bad! I love pickles, both sweet and dill. I have been buying name brands, but I decided to save a little bit of money and try the great value. I was excited to get home and open the jar and try them. I took one bite and it was terrible. I thought that maybe it was a bad pickle in the jar so I tried another one and it was just as bad. It actually reminded me of the episode on Andy Griffith where aunt Bea's pickles were so bad but nobody wanted to hurt her feelings and tell her the truth lol. I gave the value of five star because Walmart prices especially on their great value items are definitely some of the best prices you'll find and maybe I just got a bad jar of pickles, but I did not like the great value brand sweet gherkins
This was my favorite go to pickle. They were delicious but now the recipe has changed and they aren't even edible. Why great value…why??? If it was to save the cost of making them, then you've failed miserably and might as well stop making them all together. They're disgusting. Sadly I won't buy them again and I'll have to switch to another brand.
Terrible taste and limp as noodle,I'll buy store brands and 90% of the time they better tasting or equal but these are disgusting and the just as well try again on this one
