Pretty good bread for the value. It kind of fell apart thur the cutting process. But I stuck it in the refrigerator and it got a little stiff, and it cut a little bit better. It still didn't hold up as good as I thought it would. But I would probably buy it again for the price. I get that.
These were slight, like they hadn't been baked long enough. They just smooshed when I tried to slice them open for sliders, instead of having the pillowy bread texture of King's Hawaiian Rolls. I was disappointed but lesson learned, some items cannot be substituted with a cheaper version and these are definitely one of them
These were almost completely raw on the inside and it wasn't just one bag it was two of them and they were both raw and doughy.
What happened to these rolls, they were great before the cardboard tray came into the picture. Wasn't cooked all the way, too brown, bottom gooey mess. He yeasty rolls I used to buy got changed to , just bland. Kings Hawaiian expensive but at least you can eat them, GV is cheaper but not worth eating and had to throw away.
like others have stated, these rolls are terrible. Before the white tray was added, they were great, we used them instead of the name brand with no issue. We just got 2 packs to make sliders, noticed the addition of the white tray (was actually excited about it) just to open the bag to sticky, doughy, undercooked rolls that stuck to the tray %26 what i could pull away, was a ball of mush. 0/10. YUCK
First time buying these. I was making sliders for father's day. The bottom layer stuck completely to the container. When I tried slicing them, with a bread knife, they squished in my hands. Other brands have done it also, but these were so bad, I couldn't bring them back to shape. Almost like they weren't fully baked. Will not buy again.
actually i want to give zero stars on these rolls, the rolls were horrible, brown tops which gives you the illusion of them being baked. totally uncooked, just to get out of pkg they turned into dough balls, stuck to bottom of pkg, just a mess, so dissapointed
I 100% do not recommend these rolls. Buy any other rolls just not these. They are raw, sticky and nasty. Cannot be used for sliders. Cannot even come off the tray without being destroyed. Tried baking them and the tops crisped up but went to cut them apart and remove them from tray and completely went smoosh. Not a single bag issue. All 3 bags I purchased were like this. Avoid these at all costs.
I have never, ever had an issue with great value food until today. I opened this package of rolls and had an awful time getting them separated from the cardboard tray. As I was cutting them long way, I noticed that my bread knife was not going through until I pulled the top back and noticed that the inside was doughy, not cooked all the way through. Had to throw in the trash. Disappointed.
I got several packs of these rolls for a business dinner. They were terrible they were sticky on the bottom and not done in the middle. They were stuck to the bottom of the pack. You could not even cut them with out getting dough on your knife. Will definitely not be purchasing these anymore.
