Great Value Sweet Hawaiian Sub Rolls, 12 oz, 6 Count

I was so excited when I saw these- I ordered them instantly! I was a little nervous, because, at the time, there was only one review, so I was going in blind! It was all ok though, because they were great! So soft, with that sweet Hawaiian roll flavor we've all grown to love! And the price is great! I made turkey and cheese subs with these! Now, they're not as big as your typical sub roll. Think extra large hot dog roll. Not huge, but you can make a decent size sandwich with them. I will be buying these every week now!

We bought these to try with a cheddar smoked sausage and sauerkraut. We thought the sweet bread would pair well with the cheesy smoky sausage and the tang of the sauerkraut, and wow, was it ever good! The bread was fresh, soft, but still sturdy enough to hold up to the sauerkraut. The price was perfect. I bought more and made meatball subs and also made little bun pizzas. I would eat these for just about any sandwich. Give them a try. They're not too sweet, just perfectly sweet. Highly recommended!

I docked these because they were not cut all the way through to the back of each bun. These have a great Hawaiian flavor and taste wonderful. I used them to make a meatball and cheese sub, they were delicious.

These are small but very good. The only thing is that I had them delivered today Sept 24 and they are dated best buy for tomorrow, Sept 25. They are fresh still at this point. This might not be an issue if I was feeding a family or could eat them all within two days. I will try to freeze them but they may not freeze well. I made turkey, ham, provolone, veggie sub with red wine vinegar. It was good!

While these tasted fine to call these sub rolls is a huge reach. I'd be surprised if you could fit a large hotdog on these. Also there cut like hot dog buns, making it even harder to use to make a sub

Not as sweet as I was hoping for but still a good soft bread. The buns ripped when trying to open to fill them.

Bread was still in date for another 2wks.m, Really? bread doesn't last that long. It smelled sour as soon as I opened it, that's when I looked at the date. It was nasty. This was a substitute item for what I ordered. That's how Walmart gets rid of the bad products.

I want to return product was already a reduced price and the bag was open and one was missing. If I was shopping at the store, I would've never purchased an open bag.

When did you start freezing your bread first. I didn't realize when I grabbed the sub buns but they were thawing out still. When I got home I had planned on making sandwiches with them but the bottom row was still frozen and the top buns were dry in spots and soggy in others. They should have been fresh not frozen. I should get them replaced with fresh Hawaiian sub buns. Not good
