Great Value Swiss Block Cheese, 8 oz Chunk

Very versatile cheese with a firm, mouthfeel. It has almost enough of that Swiss Cheese bite! Not bland like Mozzarella, nor as rubbery. Melts well, all in all, a very affordable cheese that's perfect for grating yourself without all the additives, slicing for sandwiches and casseroles or cubing for charcuterie applications. This cheese is a good deal.

This block of Swiss cheese suffices, but I preferred to be offered to get fresh-sliced baby Swiss from the deli department. Unfortunately, there was no offer for any fresh-sliced baby Swiss. In a past order, you were able to offer me the fresh-sliced baby Swiss. So, I don't understand why you couldn't do that this time. When I did the search for it on your website, it did not tell me the fresh-sliced version was unavailable. All it showed me was the block style of Swiss cheese. Do you no longer offer deli cheeses through your store deliveries?

I Love This Great Value Brand Swiss Cheese! I Slice It To Put Onto Black Forest Ham, Honey Ham, Virginia Ham, Brown Sugar Honey Ham, Cherrywood Ham, Turkey Breast, Salami/Salame or Mixed Meat Sandwiches. It Doesn't Have A Sweetness To It. I Eat It Alone In Slices or Chunks or Squares or Cubes. I Cut It Into Squares %26 Put It Onto Tricuits. I've Never Tried To Melt It. I Can Imagine %26 Believe YOU Can Put It Into Salads Too. It's Delicious, Tasty %26 Yummy!

I love this Swiss Cheese! It's very smooth and mild. It melts well on sandwiches too. It's easy to eat the whole brick in a meal. I'd rather get this out than candy because it's better for you. Always keep a small plate on the dinner table to go with pork or red meat.

Great Value Swiss Cheese is a good choice for family budgets. It is good sliced and tasted on your tongue. This cheese is easy to slice and to add as you desire to your burgers, tomato slices and on a charcuterie board with your favorite smoked meats and assorted cheeses. It is smooth and creamy as Swiss cheese should be.

Tasty swiss cheese that actually melts. You know what I am saying. Some store brand cheese def does not melt. This 8 oz brick of creamy tastiness is a great flavor (tastes like Swiss) and is affordable too. I am planning to cut it into 1/2" cubes for snacking. Get your protein and your dairy. Win/win in my book!

The problem is that it's not available half the time. That's seems to be a problem when I'm paying you to be able to order stuff and then I can't get the stuff cuz you're out of it. Then like today I have to pay my neighbor $20 to go buy me $5 worth of cat food because you guys can't deliver it till tomorrow night at 10: 00 pm. This is why I don't recommend your service to anyone anymore.

I'm sorry to say that it has practically no flavor and it reminds me of a piece of rubber. i have been buying different types of cheese in blocks for about 12 years now and I have to be honest with you it's horrible. On the other hand you're extra sharp cheddar is excellent for a low price cheese. thanks for the opportunity to let you know.

This is a very mediocre quality Swiss cheese. It lacks the nutty nuances of good Swiss, and has poor melt quality. But I needed Swiss cheese for a recipe, and this was only available block Swiss cheese. I prefer to buy all natural or organic cheese whenever possible but Walmart does not reliably carry them. I will continue to look for alternative sources for Swiss cheese.

I did not receive the 3 8 Oz blocks of Swiss cheese as a substitute for the 32 Oz block which was out of stock; yet I was charged $5.91 for these 3 8 Oz. blocks. Makes no sense. Customer service said I was not charged, yet it was taken from my chkg acct.
