Great Value Taco Blend Finely Shredded Cheese, 8 oz Bag

This is a fun cheese blend that simply takes each dish up a notch. I use this in place of cheddar and I like to mix it with mozzarella when making casseroles %26 eggs. I don't taste any fillers and this cheese melts evenly. Yes, it's great on tacos, but i use this with everything.

I prefer this over the "fiesta blends" and "mexican blends". I remember eating this cheese on homemade tacos when I was a kid...It was the best!! Those others are NOT the same!

This is a small bag of cheese, but it is packed to the brim. We just used it on tacos. We use a little bit the other day just as a snack. We have a little bit more for probably one more meal.

Convenient since it's pre shredded. Also good on eggs, in burritos, salads, tacos and even just on plain beans. Melts easily and is overall, a great value.

This worked absolutely fine when we've made our homemade tacos. There's absolutely no difference between this and name brands except price. I'd choose this every time.

When I want to make a good meat Taco, I like to add shredded cheese on top of the meat. GV Taco blend shredded cheese is a good cheese at a reasonable price.

This adds an extra flavor to our tacos and pizza too. We can't tell the difference from the big-name brand, but the price is much nicer, and many times it's fresher because of the high turnover. Walmart knows how to dispel the rumor that store brand isn't as good.

the cheese is okay just okay. it had a tendency to look melted together and wouldn't separate very easily. makes me wonder if it got left in the heat too long...

Of all the Great Value shredded cheeses this is not on my favorite list. The taco seasoning isn't real strong but it's off putting. Doesn't work well on taco salads at all. But I'm sure some people will like it just fine. But I'm going to stay with pepper jack.

I have bought this a couple of times now and it just tastes like cheese. it's supposed to have taco spices in it but I couldn't even tell they were there. so the 2nd time I bought it I also bought a packet of McCormick taco seasoning and added a little to the cheese. which I thouht was kind of smart because I could add as much or little as I wanted. had to make sure I mixed it well before I tasted it to make sure of the amount.
