I’ve slowly tried Great Value items, and have been pleasantly surprised, EVERY time. This ketchup is no exception. Just like the brand name. Also try their chips, mayo, sauces, etc. I’m a snob about brand names, but am now a convert!
The Great Value Tomato Ketchup (24 oz) is a classic favorite that never disappoints! It has a rich, tangy flavor with just the right balance of sweetness and spice — perfect for burgers, fries, hot dogs, and so much more. The texture is thick and smooth, so it stays on your plate (or sandwich!) without running everywhere. I also love that the 24‑ounce size is generous enough to last through lots of meals but still easy to store. Great taste, reliable quality, and excellent value — this ketchup gets used at almost every meal in my house! 🍅✨🍟
Well. All that I can say is look at the ingredients before purchase. I just want to remind you that it has high fructose corn syrup and if you don't know what that does to your body look it up. If you do not care about that, then I recommend this purchase as it is very tasty for ketchup if you don't mind what I mentioned.
My kids are ketchup for Nattix. I tricked them and took the namebrand that they’re used to and put this bottle into it. They did not know that it was not their beloved catch up that they’ve ate for years. This catchup does not have a sweetness or a bitter taste, it doesn’t taste like a tomato sauce. There is no aftertaste. The richness of this catchup is just as good if not better than the namebrand the price point amazing I’ve continued to buy this since my children have not complained about it and will continue to buy it at the price point. It is definitely recommend. Just don’t buy them all.
This is delicious and just as good as the brand name. Also, this is the only non inverted bottle. I know this doesn't seem like a lot but for those of us who have weak grip strength and/or arthritis, this bottle is easy to squeeze! I will never change this product unless they start putting it in one of those horrible, upside down, hard bottles.
I like this ketchup because it has a light tomato taste. It is not too sweet nor too salty. It has no artificial flavors or colors. It is a good value. I also like that it is in an upright bottle. I had a bit of a hard time opening it, but would rather not have it loose. Although I do not use a lot of ketchup, I would buy this again.
This is now my go to ketchup. I tried Heinz, it was good, but the bottles it comes in has a huge opening, which causes too much ketchup to blow out when applying to a hot dog. The price is great, it tastes like ketchup should, and comes in a few different sizes of bottles. Don't waste your money on high priced ketchup. Buy a small bottle if you haven't tried it yet, you may never go back to Heinz
If you like sweet ketchup then it would suit you. I'm a Catsup addict and I'm a little picky about which ketchup I buy. If it counts, the size fits my life better than the mostly available sizes. I love hash browns with my ketchup LOL...you decide if you like your ketchup a little more sweet then enjoy this one.
Although this is pretty good ketchup it's just not Heinz. I finally opened it and used it in some homemade baked beans and it did fine. I tasted it and it was okay but it was not Heinz. I think many people love it just fine but to me it just lacks a bit of bite (maybe). It's as good as Hunts that we consistently used for 30 years. But one day I grabbed a package each of Heinz and Hunts that we had saved from drive thru's. I pointed out the tastes to my wife and we've bought Heinz ever since. Im not doing an ad for Heinz. It's simply the only thing I can compare it to.
I'm a big fan of the other popular brand. But price has gotten ridiculous. This brand may taste a little different but enough like ketchup for me to use it and costs about half the price. Ingredients, like the sauce, has the richness just a little weak. But definitely recommend to save $$.
