This is my “go to” snack. It is filling and the right amount of sweets to satisfy a sweets craving. Good amount of banana chips and dried fruit in the bag. Flavorful snack. I buy 2 of these weekly because that's how fast I eat them. These are better than most trail mixes like it out there.
Actually because I'm diabetic I can't have a lot of this stuff. But I do buy it to feed the deer and munch on it as I do that. It's inexpensive and it's fruit and nuts only... no chocolate. Sometimes at night, if my sugar is low enough, I have a quarter cup of this and enjoy my snack
I read the reviews both good and bad. I decided the price was so good i would give them a try. If they didnt meet my standards I could leave them in my work lunchroom or feed them to the wild birds. They were good. Maybe I got a good bag, maybe others are hard to please. It was a nice mix of fruit. It smelled like fresh dried fruit. Some of the reviews made it sound like the manufacturer bagged fruit that dropped on the floor a year ago. I do agree the nuts are scarce. The fruit is plentiful and a good variety. I will purchase these again. It makes a perfect after lunch snack.
Good size bag for the money. The fruit is a large size. My only wish would be that the banana pieces were a little sweeter and less of them and more papaya and pineapple. If you enjoy the bananas, then you'll be happy with the amount. Also, I don't notice that many cashews, mostly the almonds.
Good quality no major complaints, would recommend and use again. Price was slightly high in my opinion, currently looking for a better value. Product was fresh and delivery came promptly. A service! Product makes a healthier snack over most things currently on the market.
This is a very good trail mix but the nuts and raisin ratio is way off. There are way too many raisins (golden and regular) and not enough almonds and cashew nuts. While it is a very good trail mix, I will be purchasing additional nuts to add to it and possibly more dried fruit to do the same. As I think of what I may add to make it more robust, I may purchase the cranberry, almond and cashew trail mix and mix both trail mixes together for a stronger, more nuttier mix. Again, while I DO like and enjoy this trail mix I personally prefer less raisins.
Entirely too sweet! As sweet or sweeter than a candy bar! Not many pineapples, %26 maybe rightfully so, because it was like chewing a chewy sugar cube. Primarily bananas %26 papayas with scattered raisins %26 cranberry, with a tiny sprinkle of cashew/almond.
Two years ago, this Tropical Trail Mix was a team effort. My picky eater (godson, 4) crushed the raisin chaos and dried fruit, and I happily handled the nuts and banana chips. Everybody won. Balance. Harmony. Democracy. Fast forward to now and this bag has clearly chosen sides. The raisins have staged a hostile takeover. The banana chips are everywhere, whether you want them or not. And the nuts? The alleged nuts? I had to excavate like an archaeologist to find them. Review guide suggested I mention the almonds-just did. If I wanted a bag of raisins, I'd buy raisins. If I wanted banana chips, I'd buy banana chips. But this is called trail mix, not “Raisin %26 Banana: The Final Cut.” The ratio is wildly off. The scales are tipped. The nuts have been disappeared. So I ask, respectfully but loudly: WHERE'S DEEZ NUTZ?! Still edible. Still affordable. But please, Walmart-bring back balance. Justice for the almonds. Justice for the cashews. Justice for the nut-eaters of America.
Never received them with my order, but when I went into the store they had a bunch on the shelf. Reminded me that they never delivered a $50 gift card I ordered but said they did. My ring camera provided that they never did! Be careful ordering home delivery from Walmart!!
When opened on the 14th. The banana chips were not crunchy but stale. I looked at the “Best if used by”, of course the date is Jan 25 2024'. This is the second product with expired days! The Spanaway WA store is. Notorious. For expired products! I have had milk become spoiled a week before the pull date!
