I was really impressed with the quality of this Great Value Deli-Sliced Turkey Breast! The slices are tender, not dry or rubbery like some brands, and they have a nice, natural turkey flavor — not overly salty or artificial. It tastes just as good as what you’d get from the deli counter but at a much better price. The large 32 oz pack is perfect for families or meal prep. I use it for sandwiches, wraps, salads, and even quick protein snacks throughout the week. It stays fresh for a good amount of time in the fridge and separates easily (no clumping together). Overall, this is a great buy — high-quality, flavorful, and budget-friendly. Definitely my go-to turkey from now on!
Considering it is a pre-cut Deli turkey it is a good product. of course I prefer a fresh baked turkey breast, but that isn't always something I'm willing to do. This product stands up to the others of it's type with the name brands and higher price tags.
I love this lunch meat and the Coca Cola products and any of the supplies and groceries bought at Walmart as I have been buying the same items every month , for the past 61/2 years, as I run low to keep them in stock! Thank you so much Walmart! Thank you to your drivers too! They are all great and have good customer service which is rare to find in today's world. Way to go on your customer service trading of your employees!! Always appreciated!
As a busy mom, this Great Value sliced turkey breast has been a lifesaver. It makes throwing together quick lunches so much easier, especially on those hectic mornings when everyone’s hungry right now. My kids actually eat it without complaining, which is always a win, and I like that it’s not overly salty like some other lunch meats. The slices are easy to work with, whether I’m making sandwiches, roll-ups, or just handing a few pieces over as a quick snack. Plus, the price really helps stretch the grocery budget, which matters a lot these days. It’s one of those simple staples I keep coming back to because it just makes mom life a little easier.
This product is a decent option for simple sandwiches, it's nothing fancy. The packaging can be a little bit too wet inside, but that is necessary to keep the slices fresh, I guess. Pairs well with most varieties of cheese %26 bread. Simplicity isn't a bad thing.
Thickness is inconsistent from very thin to thick Also the amount of water varies. Sometimes meat package has so much liquid %26 is so wet I have to blot with paper towel and store in a plastic container. But its ok especially if you dont like the thin available from other name brands
it seems like every other time we get one of these the 'zip closure' is permanently sealed and we end up having to move unused slices into a zip loc storage bag. 2 lb substituted for ordered 2 - 1 pound packages (because, once open, the 2 lb package will not remain good until we can use it)
We are trying to eat healthier, but it just means spending more money on groceries. So, we decided to try the Walmart-brand turkey lunch meat. It lacked taste and moisture. The first time was on a salad, then on toasted wheat bread with lettuce and tomatoes, and finally a grilled turkey club, which was ok. That's the price of eating healthier.
I bought this in the same order with great value ham. The ham did not even have meat listed as an ingredient. This had the meat listed and an actual ingredients list on the package (info onlly on top sticker) but I do not trust great value meat anymore. Got refunded. Walmart is good at taht.
I didn't realize it was this type I was ordering, or I would not have due to previous purchase quite some time ago. This brand is so watery, it takes away from any taste that it may have. It actually makes the bread if you make a sandwich. I had to throw it out because nobody would eat it except me.
