I'm not a pepperoni person at all whatsoever but my family likes pepperoni we like to make homemade pepperoni Bosco sticks, pizza and stuff like that so whenever I get pepperoni I always get turkey pepperoni cuz I would like a healthier version if I do eat a little pepperoni I try not to eat any pork or beef for health reasons so I'm glad that there is a turkey option and it tastes all the same to me and I think these ones are really good
These are tasty. We were looking for a lower fat alternative, and these fit the bill. They toast just as well on pizza or subs. The price is pretty reasonable as well. I like that they come in a resealable bag and are great even as a snack, on salads, pizza and so much more. Recommend these!
very yummy, I use these on my pizza and I like them better than the regular pepperoni. These have a bit more flavor and are much less greasy than the pork ones. The Great Value brand has not failed me often yet, I can't think of anything that was truly bad, may not be exactly the same as a name brand but very good.
I am not a big turkey person. I do not like turkey bacon. I love this pepperoni! It goes well with eggs, cheese, pepperoni, breakfast taco for more protein. I can pop it on some naan with sauce and cheese for lunch pizzas. I can add it with a snack lunch box. Texture is great, it cooks well, taste well out of the bag, etc. I throw it into calzones sometimes for dinner. Fan favorite in our house.
Everything is so expensive now and either double or triple the price of what they were like 4 years ago, so I save money where I can and if something tastes exactly the same I'm not wasting money on greedy brand names. I buy these to add to frozen pizza when I make them at home, we like more than 8 pepperoni on our pizza so I load it up. These also taste good on sub sandwichs and these don't give me heartburn like some do
Great taste! Great price for our budget! Lower in fat and calories than pork pepperoni! We also use Great Value Pizza Sauce and Crust. I do add additional Great Value Italian Seasoning and Great Value Chopped Garlic. We can have an AMAZING pizza and save money every time. It's ready before we can drive to the restaurant and back.
We really like turkey pepperoni. I love that Great Value makes it, so the price is affordable. It has a great taste (which is most important). The texture %26 great as well, Turkey pepperoni is SO much better than regular pepperoni because there is not an enormous amount of gross grease ! I highly recommend this product. Great Value comes through AGAIN ! Thank you Walmart.
Within the modest 5 oz pack lies a treasure trove of Great Value Turkey Pepperoni Slices—scarlet discs forged with smoky fire and seasoned resolve. Each slice carries the bold spirit of pepperoni, yet lightened by turkey's lean grace, a balance between indulgence and restraint. On pizza, they sizzle into golden crowns of flavor; in sandwiches, they march as warriors of zest; straight from the pouch, they are ambrosia for the impatient. These are not mere slices of meat—they are the scarlet discs of savory might, rallying every meal into a feast worthy of triumph.
I get these for my homemade pizzas. Quick and easy pepperoni, and turkey, so it's at least a LITTLE healthier than other options. Great Value price is, as usual, much better than the name brands, but I don't suffer at all from a lack of quality, taste, or texture because of it. Definitely my go-to item for pizzas.
I tried to like these. I really did. I thought I'd go ahead and give them a try because of the good reviews people were leaving about them, about how they were less greasy than the original pepperoni slices and how they also tasted just like them. Sorry to say that's not true. These taste nothing like the original ones. They actually have this off, plastic taste I didn't like. Only good thing is that they are less greasier than the original ones. That's about it. No good flavor at all with an odd, plastic-like texture. Not worth the $2.92 I spent on them. Then I had to spend an additional $2.88 for the original ones after tossing these in the trash.
