These sausages, make a great quick breakfast, and then we prepared well in advance. As soon as I get them, I am mediately cook an air fryer, seven minutes at 400°. As soon as they cool. A bag in Ziploc and refrigerate. I cook Pillsberry grands and store the same way. For breakfast I separate the biscuit M combined with A sausage patty and microwave for 30 seconds. Makes a very tasty quick breakfast..
These are one of those surprises because they tasted good with the right spices, the texture was nice, and they fried up real well. Not too greasy. And these were inexpensive not like Jimmy Dean. They are economical when you are on a budget. Very nice breakfast sausage.
The sausages were very juicy with a delicious sausage taste. I have made them with eggs for a delicious breakfast. I also have made them for lunch on a bun or English muffins with ketchup for a condiment and a sandwich. I have also made them for dinner for the protein portion and made sides like vegetables and potatoes like potatoes O'Btien. They were all tasty dishes and very versatile .
I find it is cheaper and much easier on me.since I live alone it is easier to pick out the amount and notffool with trying to cut one ort wo from a roll. It might be a couple of weeks before I want sauage again and thi sstays nice in the freezer.
I usually buy the pre-cooked patties/links but I like these better because you get more control over how "cooked" they are (more to your own preference). I cook these and scrambled eggs and hashbrowns in my pizza cooker (which is basically just a double sided heating device) and they came out perfect. The pre-cooked ones might be a little cheaper but these are better quality and I think they taste better too.
I actually tried this when a name brand was sold out and I have not gone back to the name brand sausage patties since then. I love the taste of this store brand much better. I will cook them to eat as sausage biscuits or with a tortilla or just with eggs.
I love sausage! I have this almost every morning. I smash two patties into one large one, Air Cook it and put it into a Breakfast sandwich. Other times I fry it in small pieces and make a Breakfast Quesadilla. What I'm saying it, this is versatile and tastes quite good. I could get sausage that has a stronger sausage taste, but that isn't what I want nor would that be a good bang for my buck. Also, this is one of the few sausages available in my store that isn't Hickory Smoked.
To me it didn't taste like sausage I am used to. I will not buy it again. I buy a lot if Great Value products. The texture was normal and it fried well.looked great in the package and fried well. Presentation was great but just not the flavor for me.
A reasonable choice if your on a tight budget. For me the taste was off.. a bit gamey. Quality of the meat seemed to be there, with actual ground meat instead of that suspiciously smooth texture of big brand names. Not terrible just other brands are better. Bob Evans used to be my gold standard but they have degraded so much over the last 10 years that this product is equal to them if not just slightly superior at a much better price.
there was a piece of metal wire in our sausages. that could have killed my family or anyone if they would have ate it. thank goodness i seen it shining.
