Great Value Unflavored Gelatin Mix, 0.25 oz, 32 Count

Finger jello made easy. I use 3 boxes of Great Value flavored jello and 3 packets of unflavored gelatin, dry blend in a mixing bowl until the two are combined. Then add 4 cups of hot water, stir until the powder is desolved. Pour the mixture into your mold and refrigerated.

I use the unflavored gelatine to make Pill pockets for my Standard Poodle, Pumpkin. He has to take heart medication 3 x daily. This gelatin combined with a can of Libbys Pumpkin is perfect. He loves the pumpkin, and the gelatine holds the pill pocket together. When you have to give a dog meds 3xdaily it's important that it is a pleasant experience for all.

I use it for cartilage support due to a bad knee. Best way is to first drop into refrigerated liquid, then stir (I use GV chicken broth). Then heat it in microwave to dissolve it. If you instead first put in hot liquid, it will goop and become like a lump of glue. ALWAYS put in cold liquid FIRST, mix, and only then make hot.

This item is a very good one. It's just as good as the Name Brand. I use it to insure that my Holiday Jello.. keeps it's gel. Because, I always add a lot of different fruits.. Because without this item...the jello turns into a very weird type of soup!!

Many more choices of flavors making your own using water mix powders, and can even uses electrolyte powders for an added benefit. Gelatin dissolves easily and has neutral taste (which is desired).

Mixes well with oils, water, milk, and juices. Use to make gelatin cubes for snacks, mix with olive oil as a base for nutritious salad dressings. Mix with fruit juice to control the amount of sugar when making gelatin salads. A great treat and FILLING. Less tempted after consuming even 1/3 of a cup. This unflavored yet indulgent gelatin is perfect for our family's secret pumpkin chiffon pie recipe! We also use it to make sugarless jello from juice and fruit snacks from blended fruit. The gelatin stays dehydrated in the packets until opened for use. Versatile and indulgent!

The truth is, I was looking for silica to feed to my horses. An old-timer veterinarian suggested buying this product as it does the same thing. I'm very happy.

My dad actually wanted the gelatin for some cooking he does. This is only of the few places that sells such a large quatity, which is just what he needed. I'll be purchasing more soon.

I purchased the gelatin along with several other item. The delivery was short the (2) Gelatin packets. I reported the shortage and was told the shortage would be shipped and would receive them the next day. Indeed the package arrived as stated however I only received (1) of the two packages I ordered. I would suggest that Walmart pay attention to the correspondence they receive and get it right!!!!!
