Great Value Vanilla Crunch Ice Cream Bars, 30 fl oz, 12 Pack

maybe it's just me but it seems as if something has drastically changed in the taste and texture of this product from previously. I know it's difficult to mess up ice cream but it definitely seems like they did. it leaves an unpleasant aftertaste and feels "gritty". cheaper than a well known brand but this is one of those "you get what you pay for" type mistakes.

This product is a good value and good quality. It was on my Walmart in home delivery. There is apparently no refrigeration in the delivery van and the ice cream was so melted the ice cream had to be eaten with a spoon... the popsicle stick fell out.

these taste really horrible. As I was eating it it tasted like wax or like little pieces of plastic...I'm not sure but the overall taste was really gross and I was not digging it at all. I kept reaching into my mouth to see if I was eating something foreign as it didn't taste like actual food. The flavor wasn't there either. Sucks as I bought two boxes but these are really awful. Ice cream has no flavor and the supposed rice crispy bits on the outside plus the actual chocolate coating taste plastic/waxy and really unpleasant. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought these. Very gross.

These are hilariously bad. What's on the outside probably only barely passes guidelines to be called chocolate. Whatever the “crunch” stuff is should be called chew. It doesn't taste good and is not pleasurable to eat. The ice cream passes…. barely. Even the low price won't get me to rebuy.

These ice cream bars taste horrible. I haven't left a negative review in a long time. You can taste the strong flavor of the wooden stick throughout. The crunchies in them, are the consistency of small rolled up balls of toilet paper, stuck to ice cream, then dipped in chocolate. My teenage son will eat anything. He didn't eat more than one. I ended up throwing the rest of the box away.

I had ordered another type of ice cream bar. I was not given a chance to say yes or no to this change. I would rather just say no on items that aren't available. I know I chose to get the order sooner than usual but I hope there are changes made to the policy on how orders are picked for patrons. I know there will be issues because of getting items sooner. I do like the option of getting orders delivered. I'm not as able to shop all by myself and love to have your delivery option. But this order and the order before had an error with also.

I was excited about the “value” of these ice cream bars, but it's sort of the Walmart equivalent of a McD's ice cream cone. Disappointing “nonfat” flavor %26 thin chocolate shell that disintegrates quickly. I'd rather pay a little more %26 get something a bit tastier. But, if your goal is to feed a bunch of 10 yr old kids a cold snack, this will get the job done.

The "crunch" part was more chewy than crunchy. The chocolate shell was good but the ice cream inside had a bland taste and the texture wasnt smooth. I miss Eskimo Pies despite the poor choice of name those were a quality product. I know this is "great value" brand but thats no excuse. If you cant do it right then dont do it. Also the term "great value" is being "greatly abused" on many products under that name.

The dairy part was actually tasteful. It's the waxy, artificial, chocolate coating that earned a low rating. While eating the bar, the coating balls up into a waxy lump in your mouth. It reminded me of trying to eat the wax lips we Gen X kids used to get.

These ice cream bars are super delicious. Vanilla ice cream coated with thick chocolate with crunchy bits. Awesome bars! My family's favorite.. The ice cream is creamy and excellent quality. The chocolate is rich and so very good. Unbelievable low price! 12 bars in the box...what a deal 💖😋
