I put mine in the air fryer and I sprayed some olive oil over them and some seasoning and I like to smash McCormick's is peppery and salty and whatever else is in it cuz that's how I like stuff I like salt and pepper I like lots of pepper really. these turned out really well in the air fryer.
I could go on and on about these waffle fries. My favorite is using them to make cheese fries. I put some in the air fryer an then onto a plate, smother them with shredded sharp cheddar cheese and top it with a generous portion of bacon bits and toss it in the microwave to melt the cheese and listen to my arteries harden as I enjoy one of my favorite snacks.
THESE ARE DELICIOUS ! I EVEN HAD TO COOK THEM IN MICROWAVE %26 THEY COOKED THRU IN FEW MINUTES. NOT ALL DO. THEY´RE NOT AS CRISPY IN MICROWAVE. SO IF THAT´S IMPORTANT TO YOU FOLLOW PKG. DIRECTIONS. YOU MAY WANT TO ADD YOUR SPICES. I ONLY PUT A LITTLE SALT. I GAVE PRICE 4 NOT 5 BECAUSE ALL FOOD IS TOO EXPENSIVE THESE DAYS. EVEN BARGAIN BRAND.
These are surprisingly good! My kids immediately asked me to buy these again. They come out perfect in the air fryer and are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I'd rather they didn't have the “color retention” additive and that there were more in the bag, but these will be our new go to fries.
usually the wall my brain is good this bag had all little pieces in it there was very few waffle chips if you know what I'm saying it's too bad, after saying that I still will purchase them it is a great value I'm just disappointed that this bag had a lot of bits and pieces and not actual full potato chips
Walmart is the only place where I can find reasonably priced, foodservice-style waffle fries that are designed to go in a deep fryer, not a residential oven. They're definitely "tier 2" quality, with a high proportion of bright green fries and dark spots, both of which have be thrown out. More than half the bag is typically small "bottom of the bag" pieces, too. I recommend these fries because I don't have access to restaurant-quality waffle fries, and "meh" quality is better than nothing.
well, there's nothing specifically wrong with the quality of the actual product. the actual potatoes themselves are fine and they taste fine. nothing wrong with that at all. they're not freezer burned or anything. well I have a problem with is that they're bits and pieces. that's all you get in. the bag is a bunch of bits and pieces of waffle fries. there's no. there's like four waffle fries in the whole bag and the rest are just bits and pieces. weird off cut pieces. these are clearly like factory seconds from a major brand. these are the ones that didn't quite make the cut for their main bag. this is what happens to those potatoes that get cut. weird or didn't quite get the waffle effect they got missed in the machine. they taste fine and if you want to save a couple bucks go ahead and get them. but for me I mean I just get regular french fries before I get these the waffle cup. I like waffle fries for making like potato nachos out of them. and if you need the actual waffle fries for doing that, you can't make those with these weird little shapes and bits. it's like that was just factory seconds almost, but they taste fine. they won't make you sick
If I could give negative stars I would. It was my first time using my Walmart plus delivery and it was a huge disappointment. The order arrived many hours late and some items I did not receive. I'm not sure why because I later went to the store and the items were in stock. So what was the point of me ordering a delivery of if I later had to go and purchase the rest of my items??
These are NOT French Fries Unavailable item image Great Value Crinkle Cut French Fried Potatoes, 32 oz Bag (Frozen) $0.10/OZ Qty: 1 $2.97 item image Great Value Regular Cut French Fried Potatoes, 32 oz Bag (Frozen) 2.97/EA Qty: 1 Your preference $2.97 Replaced with: item image Great Value Waffle Cut French Fried Potatoes, 24 oz (Frozen) $2.97/EA Qty: 1 $2.97 I did not okay this substitution; the weight is smaller for the cost being the same This is NOT acceptable.
I wish I could give negative stars. As I was eating my fries out of a freshly opened bag that I just purchased, there was a brown ROCK embedded into one of the fries. Small enough I could not see it but big enough to CHIP MY TOOTH. This is UNSAFE for adults and children.
