Great Value Water Filter Pitcher 10 Cup Series, Black Color, BPA-Free, Brita Filter Compatible

I can tell the difference between my tap water and drinking from this. I use it for everything, really like it.

This pitcher holds 10 cups of water and comes with a filter. That is enough for three 24 oz. bottles. The filter itself has a life of about two months depending on how much water you drink and use. It is good for about 42 gallons according to the information on it. That is about 300 sixteen ounce water bottles. I don't know how accurate that is yet as I have not had it that long, but so far so good. Also that saves me money and I am reducing plastic waste. It is BPA free and for those who do not know it stands for Bisphenol which was an industrial chemical used to make certain plastics and resins, so that is good to know. The filter reduces copper, cadium, mercury, and chlorine (taste and odor). The filter also has a life indicator which is a big plus so you will know when to change it ahead of time.The directions on how to use are very easy to understand. Now I did a blind fold taste test with a glass of water from the kitchen sink and one from my waterfilter pitcher and the glass from the pitcher won hands down.I read some other older mixed reviews and I must say I have had no issues.

I have had water filter pitchers for years. I love them. They help in different ways. To save money, to no waste plastic and obviously, to reduce the contamination. This time, I decided to try a "Great Value" one. I honestly don't see a big difference between this one and the more expensive brands. The only difference I noticed, it's that the water filter works a little bit slower. but it's not a big deal(that's why I gave it 4 stars instead 5). I use thie water from my pitcher for drinking, cooking, and also for ironing. There is no difference in the water taste. The digital counter on the top of the lid helps you to know when it is time to replace the filter (one filter is included with the pitcher). It's easy to wash it and easy to replace the filter. Filter's replacement must be "great value" too. If you want to save money and helps to stop contamination, I highly recommend you get one.

I love this filtered pitcher sometimes we run out of Our 5 gallon water bottles and can't refill them for a few days so this comes in handy on the days we don't have our 5 gallon filtered water. The filter was easy to set up, the water taste great, doesn't taste like tap water and I love that it has a little monitor that tells you when to refill the filter.

I live where the water is so hard that you have to scrub the mineral ring out of the toilet bowl a couple of times a week. We have extremely hard water. For my preference, the water coming out of the tap tastes gross. Going by taste, running water through the basic filter provided in the box made a huge difference. I run water through 2 separate filtering pitchers before pouring the double-scrubbed water into another pitcher labeled "READY TO DRINK". This Great Value pitcher is twice the size of my original filtering water pitcher, making the whole annoying process take significantly less time! I'm so happy to have found an affordable, large filtering pitcher!

Always thought meh I don't need one of these, I'll just drink tap. As a Kia kid we had a well and it was great water. As an adult I have to now rely on city water and that stuff is horrid. This pitcher definitely helps with flavor! It's a great size for the fridge and convenient for my kids to get water and go and not rely on those aweful water bottles.

This filtered water pitcher is the perfect size for my full size refrigerator. Everything you need is included, including the filter. Setup was very easy. I followed the easy to read instructions included with the pitcher. I hand washed all tge parts of tge pitcher in soapy water and rinsed and let air dry. I then removed the filter and soaked it in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes then rinsed under cold running water for 10 seconds before inserting it into the pitcher, making sure it was installed properly. Then i opened the top of the lid and filled the pitcher with water till tge pitcher was full. Then i discarded the first pitcher of water and refilled it. Now we were ready to have nice fresh clean filtered water, saving my family lots of money compared to purchasing bottled water. The taste is terrific and when compared to high end bottled waters I have not noticed any difference except how much money i'm saving! I especially like how the lid can be pressed to show you when it's about time to change the filter. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this product.

Fresh water made easily at home! Save me money by reducing the amount of water I buy. Very easy to use too. Fill the top reservoir with tap water and it will begin to filter clean water to the bottom. Hold down the top lid when pouring to prevent spillage. That's it. Very easy to use. The slim fit is perfect my my fridge.

Poor quality, plastic on the handle cracked the first time I filled it with water and tried to pour water. Lid is wobbly and won't stay still. Over all, it's a very poor substitute for the name brand.
