Hamburger buns that do the job

Raven September 8, 2025

So they're hamburger buns. Not much can be wrong with them. They do the job and are everything a hamburger bun is supposed to be. They're not too hard nor too soft, just right for me personally. I'm not some pretentious hamburger bun connoisseur, so if you need a bun these are not bad in my eyes. The only critique I have is that I wish they were a little bigger, but as someone on a budget, I don't want to pay more than I pay for these.

the bread was very fresh for it to be generic. It would've been great if they would have delivered my hamburgers too, i just got the buns. They have a tendency to forget a few items, but they still get the tip. So make sure we get all of our stuff, guys.

The right size bun!

Patricia July 12, 2025

I purposefully compared the Walmart and other brands looking for a smaller bun for a less than quarter pound burger which is what I can eat. The Walmart brand had fewer ounces per package so I knew each bun would be smaller and I wouldn't end up throwing scraps of buns away. Why does everything have to be oversized?

Cheap and cheerful

Patricia June 15, 2025

Good bun basic holds a burger well and I use it for fish and veggie burger holds up well mild flavor does not interfere with whatever you use it for. Taste is no different than higher priced brands They may be a bit bigger or have seeds on them but who needs more bread? Seeds get caught in your teeth . Use tried and true basic bun.

Tasty Value Buns

anonymous July 1, 2026

These buns are soft and tasty. They hold standard burger patties and basic toppings without falling apart. However, they are on the thinner side and will get soggy if you put too much on them. Toasting them on the grill or stove will make them hold more.

I have had bigger breakfast busicuits

Chris July 17, 2026

While these buns aren't the best on the shelf.they work well for small burgers, good for chicken thigh sandwiches and they will be a tasty improvement for tuna fish sandwich. My only real distress is their size. I think I seen the size get smaller twice since covid lockdown. And can't complain too much considering the low price , and they will work at kids parties. The size is more like a biscuit for anyone over 3 ft tall, but ideal size for children And one more thing, of you find my assessment helpful, go and get you some and apply them to an indirect heat grilled burgers slow cooked, smoked with young apple wood cuttings. The hint was apple wood. It's locally sourced and just makes stuff taste better. Applewood is often found on large accessible piles at your local trash dump. Hope this assessment helps

It All Started With a Regular Bun

anonymous July 12, 2026

Just the perfect size for a good hamburger or sloppy joe, etc. Why waste money buying the more expensive buns. We didn't have fancy back then, and survived. Why do fancy now? An all-american burger was on a plain white bun. Want to enhance it, butter and brown them or steam them. Great Value is the best for the price and flavor, not to mention, texture.

Poor Quality Fresh Items

JoAnn April 21, 2026

Dry , they weren’t fresh like when I get them in the store myself .. shoppers are sending out poor quality bread items , very poor quality and freshness of produce ,out of date deli pre sliced ham I order .. they need a manager to explain to always pick the best quality for online shoppers which is a big business nowadays..people will stop shopping online ..I’ve talked with other online shoppers and they say the same thing , that they get poor quality in fresh items ordered ..thank you for asking as I’ve had to throw away some of my items because they weren’t eatable..

Buns always stick to the bottom of bag - probably because they are frozen (not fresh) and when thawed, sit on shelf too long. It is no surprise that they are dry and crumbly. Sorry, I love you WM, but you get it wrong with your Great Value buns. Same as above for Great Value bread.

The bun has gotten so small that the top half isn't even a full piece of bun. The size is smaller but the price increased by $0.50. even when there first stocked they fell stale and the texture is like they've been sitting out and dried out. People praise them not molding but thats not a good thing because something is not right about a bread that doesn't mold. They also praise it being smaller. I high doubt feedback that is a contradiction to common sense.
