I was a fan of Pagoda's egg rolls until I tried these. The seasoning is spot-on, the vegetables stay crisp, and the wrappers have that delicious crispy texture everyone wants in an egg roll. (I cook mine in an air fryer without an oil spritz.) Most impressive, IMO, the vegetables are identifiable, not diced so small that they become mush when cooked. That means these have a much more pleasant "mouth feel" than any others I've tried. Walmart, make them available in a larger-quantity box, please!
Crispy wrap Delicious filling Tasty Easy cooking Great for an Asian meal side Definitely recommend Pick Pick up some of that at walmart.com or have some delivery at Walmart plus membership or pick up at your local Walmart. I wanted Chinese one day but did not want to drive to the diner. Bought a box of these based on reviews, and man o man. I LOVE THESE. I heated the over, got them toasty and crunchy and my Chinese desire was satisfied. I also bought some of the InnovAsian rice. Now, there is not enough chicken in them, for me, so I started buying the Veg. egg rolls. Plus the veg rolls are more like the restaurant variety. But these rolls are always, now, in my freezer. Mustard and Soy Not needed, at least for my tasting.
These are really the best frozen eggrolls I have ever tried! With most brands, the wrapper is kind of soggy on the inside. These are nice %26 crispy! The filling %26 tasty, not too much spice %26 has ground chicken, which is nice for those of us wishing to avoid pork.
This is the closest thing to Wong wings restaurant egg rolls. I've cooked every which way and although there are no air fryer directions, I've found the air fryer (350 degrees with a couple of rotations for 18 minutes or so) has the best results. I eat mine with Chick-fil-A Polynesian sauce.
Good tasting eggrolls and easy to prepare in 10 minutes. Tried other brands and this one is the best so far for my taste. Other brands I bought were soggy and tasted like cardboard and tossed them in the trash, these Great value brand eggrolls turn out to have better taste and did not come out soggy and tasteless, will buy again.
After working all day sometimes you just don't want to stand at the stove too long and these quick and easy eggrolls are perfect to fix with some fried rice or really just good to eat by themselves. The price is unbeatable and you get 4 in a box and they're a really good size eggroll. The chicken taste so good and nothing about it taste like it's a frozen meal, it taste fresh and will fill you up
over the years when I would purchase various Asian brands, sometimes they were okay. sometimes they were not okay and so I decided. hey I'm just going to start getting the Walmart brand. I bought these egg rolls and and I do honestly believe that these egg rolls are better than any of the" Frozen Asian brands that I've eaten very tasty. definitely will be buying them again
These are fairly tasty and moreover easy to pop in the oven for a snack. If I could change something about these, I would make them organic. Price wise it really shouldn't be much more to covert these to organic. Cabbage and organic flour are cheap in bulk and there's not very much chicken in them.
Deserves NO stars. It had an odd, sort of sour smell, and even my "eat everything" son and husband would not eat it. It looks good, and the wrap browned and was crispy, but whatever was inside was not good, and did not smell like an egg roll that I had smelled before in a very long life.
