for the value and consistency, you can't find a better or equal product for the price. Using Wal Mart we can feed for adults for under $600.00 per month, and we eat snacks in between , drink pop, I am a thrifty shopper, but I don't skimp on food. Being poor is okay as long as a roof is over our heads and there is food on the table. I have to Thank the Walmart Family, if not for their pricing on 95 percent of items , our family would not be able to survive.

I purchased this loaf of bread for a client and to my delight. They really enjoyed it. He told me that he really loves white bread and this made him very happy.

My funds were low, I decided to purchased the "Great Value White Round Top Bread Loaf, 20 oz." I normally purchased "whole wheat bread and Italian Bread" in ordered to utilize it with other (protein, healthy fats and fiber) to slow down my digestion and stabilize my blood sugar. Etc...

I used to buy this bread every week. I stopped buying it a year or two ago because the quality had gone downhill. It was stale and not great. I gave it a try again last fall and have been pleasantly surprised the quality has returned. Good soft sandwich bread. I buy it every week.

It’s not like it was a few years ago when it was soft, fresh and lasted longer than a couple of days. It’s too airy and not like any bread should be. Kind of nasty. I was so looking forward to my tuna sandwich and the bread let me down on my anticipation. ☹️

As I wrote regarding the Sandwich bread, the sudden jump from a buck to a dollar fifty was rotten, but it is still as cheap as you can get. The "airy" Round bread has a tad more taste but is far less hearty than the Sandwich bread. I go back and worth between them, but neither are good. Just stuck with them.

For the past atleast 4 orders the bread has been stale to taste I just received a delivery and the date is OCT 3 that’s only 4days the bread is stale and everytime I order his brand is stale and to close to date why is that ??????

I usually buy Butternut, but took a chance on this based on all of the great reviews. It was horrible! Hard %26 dense. The best by date was 5/05/26, so that wasn't the issue. I think that the Walmart bakery is slipping. I usually get the Great Value burger buns too, but my last pack was cut so that the bottoms were maybe 1/8" thick making them useless.
