Great Value White Sandwich Bread 24 oz with Fresh Bakery Taste

This bread is extremely delicious, especially when lightly toasted. The price is very affordable. I recommend this bread to everyone. No other bread comes close as far as taste, and price. It is always fresh and never a disappointment.

The price was right. It was fresher than any other brand on the bread rack but I haven't tasted it yet. I will post another review once I accomplish that task!

I actually want to contact great value personally. The wheat bread has been in our household for over a year now but recently the packaging(bagging) has changed for the bread products. What I've noticed is after a couple of days the bread has absorbed whatever odor is around it and ruins the bread. The first bag started to taste like perfume or maybe the glad plug in it was next to, the second now tastes like my cupboard and chemicals that haven't been used in that cupboard for years. How it's happening and the bread isn't going stale, I have no idea. But I won't buy it again until you get new bagging.

Purchased was stiff and stale, not fresh, molded quickly. Bought the ALDI store brand, fresher and much better price. Only 83 cents vs $1.38 a loaf!

We always bought and loved Great Value white sandwich bread but the last loaf we bought had a very bad texture and was not tasty as before! The packaging had also changed! What happened?

We have purchased about 6 packages in the past two weeks and all have been stale. Not sure what they changed, but when the package changed the quality went way down. We will no longer purchase. Other store breads have surpassed the quality. I will pay the extra $ .25 instead of buying the Great Value Bread again.

DO NOT EAT THIS BREAD. I bought this brand in Nov. 2017. Today it is Aug. 25, 2018. It is still seating on my counter and it has not molded. I am waiting for this coming November for a complete year. What kind of preservatives are we eating with a product like this?

I bought 2 loafs of bread and the best by date is still 4 days away. Went to make my kids sandwiches and both loafs have mold. I will continue to buy my bread from food lion. Atleast with theirs I could accidently Forget about it for 2 weeks after its date before I see any mold. Only purchased because I was already at Walmart....... never again. And of course I don't have my receipt I never save it for my food. So in the trash it went.

I use to love this bread it was softest and freshest but since you changed packages the bread is horrible it's NOT even soft and seems to have more air holes in it I'm very disappointed

A change for the worse.great value sandwich bread was. The Best. Which of the great value products will be next ? They blew a good thing. I shop at Walmart at least twice a week and now I'm leary of your good deals.
