Great snacking, grating, melting cheese
I only buy whole milk cheeses. Fresh mozzarella is always better, but for some dishes I prefer block. This was intended for baked ziti but somehow didn't make it into the dish. I snacked on it instead until it was gone. Great for grating, slicing or just breaking off a hunk.

Versatile Cheese Choice
I always by cheese in blocks. It is very versatile. A block can be sliced, cubed or shredded. The whole milk version of mozzarella melts better and creamier than the part skim. Shredding from the block for pizza etc. gives a creamier taste as there are no extra additives.

I prefer this "house brand" of Walmart's low moisture mozzarella to other name brands' similar products. It's quite tasty and shreds easily, without lumping up in a damp mess. I generally prep a half cup or so to sprinkle over homemade ravioli, pizza or spaghetti sauce. My family members definitely prefer it to store bought, packaged and pre-shredded cheese, which is generally coated with cellulose, as we can always taste the difference. Walmart's mozzarella in block form is tasty!

But a Great Value Rising Crust pizza and add slices of Great Value full fat mozzarella cheese, about four ounces, for a pizza that is better than any other! For about $5.50.

This is a great cheese, especially when you need to grate it. It holds together well without breaking or crumbling, making it easy to work with. Overall, it's a great choice for the price!

It states in a bag, which is not true, it's a block of mozzarella cheese. Perfect size and affordable.

melted nicely, not overly salty on my baked Lasagna. Delicious! A good value, and had less addatives than the bagged preshredded packages.

Really is “good value”
Have used great value cheddar cheese %26 loved it so tried the mozzarella- it's also great. Melts nice - grates easy %26 has good flavor. The only mozzarella I buy now

MOLD
have never been more alarmed. i bought this a couple days ago and to think it was moldy the whole time it was in my fridge shakes me to my core. i deserve to be compensated for the mental distress
