Great Value Whole Milk Plain Greek Yogurt, 32 oz

I like this Whole Fat Greek Yogurt. With low fat taking over most dairy products, I am glad Walmart Brand is out there, and with a lower price. This greek yogurt is my first choice when stocking up.

I was hesitant to buy store brand yogurt. I always buy more expensive organic yogurt but it was out of stock. I didn’t need to be hesitant on this brand. I researched Great Value whole milk greek yogurt on the Fooducate website and was surprised to see they rated it a strong A (on a scale of A-F). The taste is better than the more expensive brand I’d been buying. The ingredients list is only Cultured Grade A Whole Milk. Nothing else. It contains live and active probiotic cultures. So this yogurt is a win. I’ll keep buying it.

Ok, I eat a lot of plain yogurt with stevia because I do keto. I was skeptical at first because I am picky about Greek yogurt, I want it to be filling. This has a nice, firm texture and it hits the spot! It really is a “great value” for the money.

Delicious and creamy. I've bought multiple times. Definitely made with whole milk. That's why there's 6 grams of fat in 3/4 cup serving. I don't know why people are saying different. Are they getting the nonfat version accidentally and not realizing it? Idk, but it's definitely whole milk yogurt. And.. good!

These 1 star reviews are killing me. Don't read them. I don't work for anyone who makes a profit from this product; just saying upfront. First, this IS real yogurt; second, it is made from whole milk; third, you should see a liquid on top, it's called whey and comes from WHOLE MILK, so stir it; fourth, the product is all natural, the others are thick because of the substitutes. Buy the product, it's delicious and since it's made from whole milk instead of skim, all the nutrition hasn't been filtered out.

This has the consistency of a regular yogurt. Which means they didn't strain it and that's exactly what it is, regular yogurt. It's very thin. If I'm paying for Greek style yogurt I expect it to be strained and ready straight from the package, not to have to strain it myself. Otherwise product is fine for a regular yogurt.

I've had Great Value Greek yogurt in the past and stopped buying it because it didn't taste as good as real Greek yogurt (try Fage). But I had berries and walnuts to add to my yogurt this time so I wasn't worried about it not tasting as nice. The issue came when I opened it and it was runny like standard yogurt. Actually, a little MORE runny than standard yogurt even after stirring. I figured the quality had just gone down. Apparently I was wrong. I am VERY lactose intolerant. Greek yogurt is the only yogurt that I can safely eat. Which is how I know this wasn't Greek yogurt. My lactose reactions are severe stomach cramps and nausea. I ate this for breakfast, took some lactaid just in case; the cramps %26 nausea kicked in within an hour. It's the following afternoon and those issues are only just starting to fade. It's not and never has been proper Greek yogurt but what I had yesterday wasn't even pretending to be. If your yogurt matters to you or, like me, you are lactose intolerant, I wouldn't waste money on this.

This yogurt is not made from whole milk as advertised and the ingredients online don't match the actual ingredients. It's made from low-fat milk and added cream for thickness, that's not the same as whole milk yogurt! Also, nowhere on there says that live cultures/probiotics are present or were added after pasteurization, which means this yogurt does not have any beneficial bacteria as yogurt should have!
