This bag of onion rings, especially since they're battered it's absolutely delicious. Easy to use if you have an air fryer preheat put them in. Let them cook according to the bag flip them around put them back on flip them out or you know let them sit and enjoy they are great if you put your chicken in with them I use your tasty bird chicken finger through the little chicken bites. They're wonderful. I can't say enough about them and yes, I refer them.

Fresh whole sweet onion slices!

Suzan May 29, 2026

Great Value Frozen Whole Onion Rings! Talk about fantastically crisp and delicious! We love them! They're made with fresh whole onion slices, not chopped up onions, like so many of the freezer brands do! That was they taste like you went to all the trouble of fixing them yourself, instead of baking them in your oven! They are perfect. PERFECT! Enjoy! 👍🏻Suzan G

I hadn't had any earrings forever and I bought a pack. They were so incredibly good. I couldn't believe I wasn't sitting in a restaurant, but like I needed it I went ahead and tried it a different brand that was more money and they weren't good at all and now I buy great value and I buy two at a time. I love these and they are great trim you'll like them.

Pretty Darn Good

andrew May 15, 2026

much better than most of the name brand O rings. first they use full onion slices, not onion mush thats interspersed in bread crumbs like alot of brands seem to be doing now for some reason. secondly it is a batter thats more like a homemade one, using seasoned breadcrumbs not a beer batter, which some people like me prefer.

Onion rings

I have not fixed these yet but the reason I got them to try is my search engine had an article for the 5 best frozen onion rings and the Walmart brand rated number 3. And a really good price! So be like me and be a little adventurous and give them a try!

Delicious... Just Wish They Were a Little Cheaper

Tonya July 5, 2026

These onion rings are honestly delicious. They cook up beautifully with a crispy coating on the outside, tender onion on the inside, and they're one of my favorite freezer snacks. Add a little salt and a side of ketchup, and you've got a snack that's fit for royalty. The only reason I don't buy them more often is the price. They're definitely on the expensive side for frozen onion rings, so I usually treat them as an occasional splurge rather than an every-week purchase. That said, the quality is excellent. They consistently cook well, taste great, and disappear pretty quickly whenever I bring home a bag. If they were just a little more budget-friendly, they'd have a permanent spot in my freezer. Until then, they're my "treat yourself" onion rings—and every now and then, it's okay to eat like royalty. 😄

So- So onion rings. Are they as good as homemade? Certainly not, but if you're craving onion rings and can't get to a restaurant they will satisfy your craving They cook up very quickly and crispy in an air fryer, but the coating is a heavy corn meal mix type coating, not a not crispy light tempura type.

These onion rings get hard when deep fried.

Anonymous May 30, 2026

The flavor is good and doesn't have a "Beer batter" taste (major plus). Unfortunately these onion rings get pretty darn hard when deep frying. I've tried cooking them at various temperatures and lengths of time and they always come out hard, not crunchy; just down right hard.

No flavor and too much crunch

c June 18, 2026

I'm disappointed with the gv onion rings. I tried cooking several diff ways: air fryer, oven, and toaster oven and adjusted the time cooked. Each time, however they ended up being too hard and crunchy. I didn't get much of the onion taste and they looked slimy. It was as if the onion melted away. The breading is far too crunchy and it gets harder as it cools. The flavor of the breading was one of flour and panko maybe? I didn't get a taste of any spice blended in the breading just a slight hint of sugar. I've tried the other brands they sell at this store and each were a disappointment. Next, I'll just make my own or have another store's off brand- 5for5

Don't do it::80% breading

Dbear July 12, 2026

I saw the reviews and thought "well ppl are wrong sometimes" but yeah, they were right. I'd rather get the gv minced onion ones like "bking" at least you know what you're getting. Those were far better and glad I tried those first. I think there was some paper, idk I couldn't bite through it -so yeah- pls don't get these! PS-pointless to contact chat for a refund for every item that is gross or expired!!
