Great Value Whole Vitamin D Milk, Gallon

It's milk, use it for drinking or cooking. Bathe in it if you want. It tastes fine though that's no guarantee the bottle you buy will taste fine, they're not from the same batch. I bought this milk a long time ago so if you're buying from the same batch it's most likely expired, I wouldn't recommend it at all. But if you're buying a new one then I say go for it! Honestly I'm not sure why you're reading a review of just regular milk, chances are you've had it before. It blows my mind that Walmart want me to review milk. But it's one less thing popping up on my screen to do when I log in now so there it is.

Rich and deliciously sweet and creamy . And you absolutely cannot get it Quicker than Walmart that is my go to for fast friendly delivery! And grandkids friendly Too!

This milk makes excellent cottage cheese. You'll never get good cottage cheese from bad milk. The cottage cheese is soft, holds its shape, has large flakes, and is delicious. There's also some liquid left over, which can be used to make excellent, soft pancakes.

I am pushing 80 and Milk is my go to drink and has been for years.. No matter where I am I have to have my milk before bedtime. I do drink whole milk and find it to be the most satisfying..I always take my nite time meds with milk and within 15 to 20 minutes I am out for the nite.. I love the coldness, smoothness and flavor of the Great Value whole milk BUT most of all the price…Thanks Walmart for making my it so affordable !!!

Great value milk lasts longer and keeps its full flavor up to the expiration date. Use to last about 2-1/2 was after expiration date . But the gallon I got last mth was sour 2days before the expiration date. But it's still much better than the name brands by a long shot. I buy it each time.

fyi. my milk that was dated 11/03. I finished 11/17! 2 weeks after date. But I had opened about 10 days earlier. I don't use much milk. I usually buy another more expensive brand that will always last 10 days past. I pour 3-4 , 2 cup size jars at a time. That way it doesn't keep warming up. I also don't leave it out.

I’m not sure what is going on but this last purchase of milk made things I cooked with taste weird. Not spoiled but weird. I don’t like that. I’m not sure the cause but it’s a problem. It was far from being out of date and didn’t smell. But it made my gravy taste weird and unpleasant. And the milk was the only difference in how I normally make my gravy.

The expiration date was 3/6/2026 and it soured already. Today is March 1 and there was a half gallon left and I had to dump it out. This has happened to me 3 X before. My refrigerator works and the storage temp is always 38 degrees F. This has also happened with the Great Value 2% fat milk.

pretty much every gallon of milk I get an have gotten for the last year has spoiled at least 2 days early. today is November the 23rd at about 3:00 and I'm cooking dinner and go to make cornbread thinking that the milk is not bad until November the 26th cuz that's what it says on the gallon and lo and behold 3 days early is expired. I don't actually think it's the milk I think it's the workers there that are shopping for my items and then deliver it to me or something it's not being kept cool properly waiting to be delivered to my house. but maybe it is just the milk itself I don't know but this is no acceptable. I'll be calling y'all today over a few issues that I've had that y'all have not dealt with yet!

it had a hole in the jug milk leaking everywhere and Walmart wants me to drive it all the way back to the store instead of just giving me credit I have my groceries delivered because I had a stroke and can't drive I'm not driving a gallon of milk to the store that's going to be empty by the time I get there cuz of the hole on the side of it
