We have been getting these for a couple of years now. Always fresh. Healthier than most other brands. A great size if you don't want a lot of bread/carbs. I freeze them, then take out two at a time to use, and thaw in microwave or toaster. I hope Walmart continues to carry them. They have been out of stock for a couple of weeks.
I really like these. They don't have too much of a sweet taste to them. I think they're fantasic if you toast them on the grill just a bit to warm them, then add your choice of filling.
Your wheat hamburger and hotdog buns are ALWAYS out of stock in Lancaster Ohio Walmart. What is the deal???
These buns are good for burgers and ham sandwiches, and they cost much less than brand name buns. They don't taste as good but good enough to my family
This item is NEVER available at my local Walmart in Sebastian, FL. Worse yet, the customer service people REFUSE to order more, or even contact anyone to try to get more Great Value Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns. Even worse than that, they constantly give excuses about not ordering more. REAL customer service people would at the very least TRY to find a way, somehow, to get more of the product.
We have bought these buns before and they were fine. This last time they were absolutely the worst ever. Each bun as either not cut at all or fine slices that you couldn't use. Should have returned them but making another drive to the store in a different town didn't make any sense. Won't buy them again.
Expiring buns! I picked these up at curbside and they had only 3 days to use them for best buy date. Last week, the whole wheat hot dog buns had 1 day to use. I'm going to be asking the person that loads my groceries to read out the date from now on. The buns are a great value but not when they are so close to date.
Considering the size of American burgers today these buns are comically small. Too small for quarter pound burgers!! Maybe if you're doing sliders these would be appropriate.
It doesn't matter if these are fresh or about to expire, every time I've received them, they've been extremely dry, stale, and tough, versus not so dry, fresher and soft (like normal buns should be). I would give 0 stars if possible.
did not have my wheat hamburger buns, they could of subsituted the iten. not with white bread that they offered me but with another wheat bread, and they forgot 1 item.
