Great Value Wild Caught Pacific Whiting Fillets, Skin-on, Value Bag, 4 lbs (Frozen)

My family practically live on this fish. I make nuggets with them, and dip them in various sauces, which are usually made from Great Value dressings, like mixing French with Ranch, which we call Franch. ...so good! This fish is an economical way to feed the family on a budget, because there are so many ways to fix it, and when one keeps the many Great Value Condiments and seasonings on hand, along with some buns or just plated with some sides, everyone is satisfied.

Thaws out quickly. Good for frying or baking. Good texture, fesh. The Big bag is a good buy. The smaller bag goes quickly if you are feeding a family of more than 2 people. A convenient quick meal choice.

The fish is fresh, and delicious when looked. It's crispy on the outside, moist and flaky on the inside when fried. All around, good product.

My go to for fish especially when I can't get fresh in store so I love the convenience knowing that it is wild caught. Smell is non fishy (good indication of freshness and texture depends on how you unthaw it. Take pieces out to unthaw preferably with out a bunch of water and cover...too much water will make fish texture change to mush when cooking. I prefer to fry pan these over baked but you can cook multiple ways.

I didn't like them not being individually wrapped it would have made it better to separate because they break

Bad aftertaste. Seems like it's prep to be turned into pet food. Horrible aftertaste. A lot of Walmart's fish products have had this taste lately. Guess it's time to try out of state grocery stores.

I got this fish cause I've had it before, but this time it seems like it had been frozen and unfrozen multiple times, texture was off and it smelled like a low tide very disappointed. Hope you read this or they print it. I do not recommend it. Thank you so much the Gordon fisherman.

I think i got food poisoning from these fish. They were the only "new" food item i added to my supper that day. I was sick for a week before i felt better. I threw the entire bag away and left messages for customer service. They refunded my money.

Terrible tasting fish, very fishy smell while cooking and eating. Yuck
