I really liked these wintergreen mints! You will too! They did house delivery which I Love ....... But now for some reason they have decided they will not deliver to the house. Disappointed about that part!
I usually purchase the name brand wintergreen mints, however, I accidentally discovered the Great Value winter green mints when placing an online order. They were less expensive so thought I'd give them a whirl. I am glad I did! I like the texture - a little easier to bite into than the name brand, and I like the flavor.
I love these little life-saver shaped peppermint candies! I suffer from day mouth, and these really do get the saliva flowing! The level of sweetness is perfect, and yes, they contain sugar, but I wouldn't make a meal out of them. A little sweetness once in a while, who could complain? I recommend you try 'em, and the price is a "ganga", (bargain)!
These mints are excellent. Taste, texture, everything. My only gripe is that they are individually packaged. I still carry around an old Altoids tin and get annoyed that I have to remove the mints from the plastic wrapping when ideally I should be able to just dump some mints in the tin. Aren't you guys trying to not use plastic? Why is this ok? If it's ok to wrap all these mints in individual plastic then it should be ok for you guys to give us, not charge us ten cents, plastic bags. Please correct this error.
I ordered Life Saver brand but received Great Value Walmart brand instead. This brand tastes like watered down wintergreen flavor. It doesn't have the strength of Life Saver brand, so it's not worth paying for. I don't recommend it to those who love wintergreen flavor.
These are great! They taste good, and help reduce some nausea and other "yucks" in the mouth. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, but I am disappointed that every single bag I have purchased has been short a single candy. Yes, no big deal, but a company that makes millions of these bags shorting every bag to distribute to make $ off other bags they're filling, that leaves a taste in my mouth too sour for these to help. I will continue buying because they are still the best value for what I buy them for, but I will continue counting and being mad that consumers are always being taken for, in such ways.
I buy a lot of Great Value items because of their taste and quality. I absolutely love winter green mints. When I first started buying them they were excellent, but lately for the passed several months, the wintergreen flavor is undetectable. It taste like you are just eating a sugar disk… So I decided to go back to purchasing life saver brands.
Once you've had the original Lifesaver Wintergreen, there's no replacement. I got stuck with 3 bags of these generic brand ‘mints' that have zero breath-saving capabilities and no minty taste. All I can say is stores need to stop replacing items with their own lower quality cr@p without your permission!
The individual wrappings around the mints are impossible to open without using scissors. I bought them to keep in my purse, but I had to cut my own small slit in each one so I could open them without carrying scissors in my purse, too. I'll stick with Lifesavers from now on.
Each package which I ordered 2 6packs of the mints great value brand says on the serving size 4 mints per serving at 9 servings per 4.5 per package so there should be36 pieces of mints per 4.5 bag yea right got jipped 2-3 pieces of mints per 4.5 oz bag out of 12 bags that's a lot YEA PETTY live on a fixed income and trying to enjoy a little bit out of life and get taken in the end is this how you do business Walmart and some of us are at your mercy because no way to get around so you take the consumer as much as you can and I'm being nice with the language.
